This is the final quest you receive when you reach Exalted with the Timbermaw Hold on Horde side. You receive a nice fan far in Orgrimmar with Thrall shouting your name out for all to know.

It's not a duplicate - http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=8484 is the alliance version of the same quest name.

if your horde and complete this.. this is what Thrall says:

Thrall yells: Let it be known that <name> - Horde <class> - has earned the undying respect of the Warchief. He has engaged in great diplomacy with Timbermaw Hold and performed valiant actions for them on our behalf. He has gone above and beyond the call of duty. Three cheers for <name> - a true hero of the Horde!

As of 3.08 Thralls does yell it out. Just Handed in the quest a couple mins ago

Just thought it might be worth to mention that this quest no longer leads to Thrall, but to Shok Narnes. For some reason he doesn't seem to think that your deeds are anything worth yelling about, as he is silent.

it sucks, i finally decided to get exalted (wich i have wanted since clasic but im lazy) and i go and thrall doesnt shout, its a very little detail but still sad about that

With Thrall gone, and Garrosh in his place there is no yelling at all. :(

I just got exalted and finished The Root of All Evil but Gore One Eye does not offer this quest... I see that people in 4.0.3 patch have finished it, maybe it's gone in 4.0.3a?

Same. i got Exalted yesterday and just handed in "The Root of All Evil" for no follow-up from Gorn One Eye. Came on here to see if i was missing something... just noticed this in red at the top of the page "This quest was marked obsolete by Blizzard and cannot be obtained or completed."

Please - take this offering to the orcish warchief that resides in the lands of Durotar; I believe you call this city Orgrimmar. In times past, he had tried to make contact with us on behalf of his Horde. It is now only fitting to acknowledge you as the key in your Horde's efforts in brokering peace.
