Soloed as a 55 Rogue. At their main campment, they are in groups of two, so it made it easy. A simple sap, kill one, finished the other worked great. The Ursa, however, seem to hit rather hard, so watch out. Also the Shamans will occassionally try to heal themselves.

Seemed as if they dropped runecloth 100% of the time.

Great grinding quest.

When I came here to do the Quest 'Winterfall Activity' I found that their encampment had very few Ursa's and they were spread far apart. But if you head into the hills between the camp and Everlook you will find many Ursa's and some Shaman's to kill.

Once you complete this quest, you'll be able to gather winterfall spirit beads for reputation.

A small tip for priests, shaman, warlocks (if you are using felpup) Hunters and is to dispell the Winterfall Furbolgs. They all have the Winterfall Firewater buff on them - and removing it makes them do a fair bit less damage.

If you're looking for Winterfall Ursas, go to the mountain located around 65.40. There's lots of thsoe and Den Watchers

2.3.3 If you start about 66,34 right outside what looks like a fort, there are 4 or 5 of the Den Watchers. Inside the fort, Den watchers. AS you go out the back gate of the fort, there are 3 sets of Shaman/Ursa spread out along the intersecting road. After taking them out, head up the hill and another Ursa, then a Shaman inside the cave (63,59) with the Chief. Heading back down the hill, the others have respawned. You're done :)

This quest rewards you 700 rep, not 350 as the entry indicates.

Watch out for the three Winterfall Runners that patrol the area around the Winterfall Village and the path leading up to it (even though they don't seem to be aggressive on the road, they'll kill you at the village).

Exit Everlook and turn left. Follow the wall of the camp then head up the hill to the east (approx. - 64, 34). Follow the ridge behind Winterfall Village. You should find seven Ursas. After killing the seventh drop down and kill the last one (or more). After this follow the trail down into the Village and kill everything there. Go out the gate and kill some more. Chances are you will need to kill a few more to complete the quest. Go back into the village and wait for the respawns. The Den Watchers seem to be abundant, but I had to wait for a few more shamans before I got my fill.

Level 58, Unfriendly Reputation with Timbermaw. I received 700 Reputation (not the 350 listed above, which must be from before Blizz boosted 'old world' reputation hand outs), and the 9000xp.

This quest gives 700 rep. So its good if u need quick exp and quick rep for the quest starter items..

I found that winterfall villiage i am gettin a 50% drop rate on the beads at lvl 80. Though their respwn rate is extremely slow at my lvl. I cleared the camp and had to wait 5 minutes for respwns.

Done with 48lvl prot warrior hunting down 56-57lvls, was really hard but Ursa's Embrace costs it on my level! =)

Usual strikes 7-18 damage, while specials did full damage the only problem is to hit.

I don't know, but since patch 3.3.3 my game freezes for 1 sec upon the death of any of the mobs related to this quest. Could be because the Winterfall Den Watcher is part of 2 quests (I did Winterfall Activity and Threat of the Winterfall at the same time). Very annoying.

Rep grinders can make this quest, if not difficult, then at least drawn out. I've dropped it on a couple of alts due to finding all the spawns wiped clean by 80s going for the Ambassador title.

Rewarded me 10800 experience when done at level 53

While at their camp near Everlook, if you find yourself short on Ursas and Den Watchers, the hill right next to the camp has a good number of them.

If you find the furbolg camps being cleared out by rep-grinding 80s, try asking them to party up so you can finish your quest.

Salfa wants you to kill 8 Winterfall Shaman, 8 Winterfall Den Watchers, and 8 Winterfall Ursa. Salfa is located just outside the entrance to Timbermaw Hold in Winterspring.

Descrição

The Timbermaw tend to stay to themselves, <name>. While we do allow safe passage to those we trust, we try to avoid other furbolg tribes if at all possible.

The Winterfall tribe as of late has become increasingly hostile towards us. They seem to be in a state of rage, completely engulfed by their own fear and hatred of anything they do not understand.

I must ask you to thin their numbers as to lessen the threat against us. Seek them out in Winterfall Village, far to the east of here.
