This is a drop from Onyxia, and used in the completion of the Hunter epic weapon quest. It has an approximately 20% drop rate, and can be looted even if you do not have the quest. If you are in a guild that is able to successfully down Onyxia, but you have not yet reached Majordomo, make sure that you are still handing these out to your hunters. This is a useless item for any other class.

Where does i get the quest? I have searched in Felwood for Stome the Ancient, but can find where to take the q please help

The sinew for this quest also drops from black dragons in burning steppes, noticed as i was going to kill one of the demons for the staff quest that the in game quest helper thing said they dropped them. It dropped from first kill as well so may be 100% drop rate.

Just did this quest, and I can confirm the black dragon sinew has a 100% drop rate off any of the black dragons in Burning Steppes, and turning this quest in somehow snags you the level 60 Onyxia achievement.

Guardião Ancestral is a Legacy achievement to be added in Legion that will be awarded those who complete the epic Caçador questline to obtain Rhok'delar, Arco Longo dos Guardiões Antigos and Lok'delar, Báculo dos Guardiões Antigos.

There is a similar achievement being added for Sacerdotes that obtained Bênção/Anátema before they were removed - Equilíbrio entre Luz e Sombra

I'm sure it will be some recognition much appreciated by those who took the time to acquire these weapons!

Vartrus may offer you the stave to create a bow of Ancients but only I can enchant the string required to complete the bow.

It is a simple task, puny one. Slay a mature black dragon and remove the sinew from its bones. Return that sinew to me and I shall enchant the material into an almost indestructible bow string.
