spawns 2 initial level 40 water elementals, then spawned 2 or 3 more before he was finished. So be prepared to fight at least 5 before he runs out and you can follow him.

The key to this quest is to stay in the cave mouth, dont go into the cave with the gnome. This way there are no respawns, only the initial 2 water elementals to deal with. Fighting them at the cave mouth allows the gnome to finish his work undisturbed (and you to finish the quest).

I was standing outside the Cave on 34,80 And was just waiting for the Elements to Attack Me. I DIED. But the Quest was Completed. E A S Y.

Elementals must not attack to professor or he will fight with them instead of doing his work. Just charge and thunder clap to them, then bring them to pirates. Worked fine for me as a 39 warrior.

As a Lv38 Retribution-Din:
I have "Righteous Fury", "Devotion Aura", "Blessing of Might", & "Seal of Command". I let Gnome go inside and I waited at the SpawnPoint of the cave where the 2 mobs spawns. and as soon as 2 mobs spawned I just activated "Consecration"(AOE spell) to grab both mobs towards me(GNOME is UNTOUCH, he wasn't disturbed at all) I was fighting both mobs and I didn't even kill the mobs "YET" and saw Gnome running back to the campfire ^_^; easy easy easy. *note* Use a SWORD and a SHIELD. 1/1 on this quest.

Fyi if phizzlethorp runs out of the cave after the elemental he will vanish and u will have to abandon the quest to restart it.

There is an unmentioned prerequisite to this quest, which may explain why the professor won't give it to you. Especially if you come into the area in your 40s, you may miss Land Ho! from the ogre Lolo, o Olheiro. It's the prerequisite for the other quests in the cove, but since it's just a level 35, Lolo may not have the "!".(##RESPBREAK##)2056##DELIM##adashiel##DELIM##

As a 36 firemage
Had to pull the guys out & have the pirates fight them- even just the hits they got in while running down to the pirates almost killed me. Only the blackwater deckhands will aggro, so its a bit of a run while they're both trying to frost nova you.
The prof won't die fighting one of them for a few min, but he will if you let him fight both. Learned this after dying twice trying to get both of them at once(for some reason they really like fighting the prof!). Instead I used fire blast on one of them, blinked down to the blackwater raiders, and ran back up and did the same thing with the other one. Once I figured that out wasn't nearly so difficult.

Careful as they like to use frost nova, and seem to be resistant to fire and arcane (or it could just have been my lower level).

This quest has been massively nerfed recently. I just finished it as a 40 rogue. One set of elementals and the quest was complete.

PITA for my 41 frost mage since the WE's are immune to all frost spells. Did it by AoE'ing the two water elementals (Arcane Explosion, +18 Arcane Dmg) till dead, using Ice Barrier, Mana Shield, and Ice Block as necessary. By the time they were dead, Pizzle had finished and was running out, so no second wave.

Did it today with my 36 Hunter. Extremely easy. Pick up the quest, and when the professor positions himself near the stone, plant an explosive trap behind him. When the elementals spawn, just pull them to the guards that are outside the cave (level 39). You have to pull them BEFORE they hit the professor, because he'll try to help and thus a second and maybe third wave will spawn. Remember, Growl and Distraction shot are a must.

Under the spoils section at the top, this quest is labeled as giving 250 scryer rep.. but that seems a bit odd for a level 35 quest.. Can anyone comfirm this?

I will like to tell all you rep farmers this quest does not give you any scryer rep whatsoever and that since I found it hard to navigate where i needed to be for this quest it is in Faladirs cove bottom left corner of Arathi

This quest is terrible for 38 Combat Rogue (NE). With Blade Flurry I can kill easily the fisrt two elementals, but the others are insurmountable problem, because with my 1820hp the first two wound me around to 1000, and without Blade Flurry remaining elementals kill me. So for me is very difficult because they are very strong.

(sorry for my bad english, I'm not from english speaking country and I'm only learning english as my second language)

A few moments ago, I red that if I stay with the first wave of elementals outside of cave no other will apperar. I will try this.
So, i've done it. With eating, bandage, blade flurry, evasion, blind, but i've done it. So it can be done by 38 Combat Rogue. 2 elementals in 1 wave appeared. But there were some old from my first try that i failed. So I was fighting 4 and with abilites above survived.

Now that we are full-fledged Blackwater Raiders it is our job to help Mr. O'Breen locate the lost elven treasure.

It is next to impossible to find the gems in the dark sea without aid. The doctor has constructed some goggles that will help. He needs the goggles charged with the energy derived from the enchanted stone in the cave just up the hill.

But the cave is cursed! When we get close, we get ambushed. Defend me and I can harness the energy from the stone into the goggles.
