Just as the first part of the chain, this quest resulted in 2900 experience at level 49.

The scroll is inside the cave at 31,66. Just head in and it's up on a stone on your left.

Even stealth classes are likely to need to fight so unless you are a decent bit higher you might want to fight your way in as the raptors are quite tightly packed and adds are very likely.

This part of the questline is also giving out 3600 exp now at lv 48.

I gained 3600xp at level 42, soloed it pretty easy. Only attracted multiple mobs once.. and I had 3 on me. Died, came back and tried again. You have to kill all the raptors in the small cave to get to the scroll in the back.

Ok, at lvl 45 rogue I did this solo and here is what I did I killed all raptors/lashtails on center and left side. I went in with all 3 raptors/lashtail inside cave and I was cloaked/stealth (w.e. u wanna call it) and I went to back and stood on stone and i cheap shot one raptor and attacked the second center one (he came to me) and after half his life was gone the other came back to reality and attk me I killed the first one and finished the second one. YOU CANNOT SAP THEM. Nor can you obviously PP them either. (Yes some ppl try too). Also please note I had Wound Poison II and Instant Poison IV on and all Lashtails I used Exposed Armor on them. This greatly helped me. I hope this helps.

You can get a quest in mudsprocket to kill Goreclaw just at entrance of cave with scroll inside (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11184).

That's a extra XP and easy to solo. Just take care, that's tons of raptors near him and before the scroll at cave.

The best approach is from the left side of cave. Wait and pull 2 patrols (1 at a time), 2 more raptors then Goreclaw.

Then go to cave entrance, 3 more raptors to kill, then get the scroll.

donno about all the fuss....very easy as a rogue, stealth in complete the Q, kill one raptor, stealth...could have use vanish. nah 2 easy... walk in the park... 2 min tops..im lvl 42

Pretty easy ( lvl 44 hunter) soled it. Found some good drops from the Raptors. Watch out for Goreclaw the Ravenous, as he rez's FAST. i mean FAST. when i was looking for the scroll there were 2 goreclaw corpses next to each other on the ground. talk about fast.

just finished this part with no problems. If u cant get it u might want to make sure u did part 1 in the swamp of sorrows

I can agree, you should go to Mudsprock and grab the quests, actually, do all the quests available for you there, they are really easy and doesn't take long time, It's really nice quests and you might find better equip while making them as well.

i'm looking at the scroll in the cave and i cant click on it or talk to it or anything. did someone snag it recently and it has yet to respawn?

Very easy for shamans. Run in, drop stoneclaw, finish quest and pick up new one quickly, run out, done. Word of warning though, when you get out, a lot will be on you, so have a health pot at the ready, and 2/2 imp ghost wolf will help a lot.

Here is the path in which I went through for this quest chain:

Picked up the scroll on one of the boats south of Booty Bay.

First quest:

If you're a hunter or a paladin (between 39-42 I suppose) you can rush in, take a few raptors with you and kill them then take the new riddle
