Druid quest, available at level 14, relatively easy.

Very nice offhand for such a level. For healing RFC/WC/VC/Etc, of course, but still very nice.

A little disturbing, but you can do this to finish the quest faster:
- Cast entangling roots on the sickly animal
- Use the Curative Animal Salve before the damage from the roots kills it
- Wait for the animal to die, you'll get double credit

This way, you only have to look for 5 of them!

Still works September 24th 2007.
Your roots have to kill it after you apply the salve. Unfortunately for me one of my roots broke early before it died so I had to find 6 instead of just 5.

I just tested it (February 4, 2008) and it still works! GREAT hint. Although on my second try the gazelle somehow lived thru the entangling roots, lol :)

Not only can you still get double credit, but after they die you can skin them by right-clicking (even though the skinning icon doesn't show up). Good for a few leather scraps.

This quest-line scales with your level. I received 4300 experience for turning in this quest at level 46 (it stays yellow). I am not sure at what point it stops scaling, but I strongly suggest waiting until a later level to complete this very simple quest.

all quests that are for a specific class will scale, except for the level 50 quests that lead to sunken temple, did the bear form quest at 60 and received almost an entire bar! (it rewarded about 9500xp) so i'm sure you could save all class quests til 79 and even do them to help you ding 80
although i've never tested it, and probably never will

edit - got 7150 at 60 turning in this quest (also this is meant to be a reply to Rasztra)

The roots tip really helped! I would've spent quite a lot more time running around trying to find these little buggers otherwise. Wish I'd read about the scaling tip before I turned it in, though. D:

Curing the Sick

Use the Curative Animal Salve on 10 Sickly Gazelles that are located throughout the northern part of the Barrens; doing so should cure them. Sickly Gazelles have been reported north of the east-west road that runs through the Crossroads.

I was able to make enough salve for ten doses of curing, <name>. While I work with local authorities to try and make some more salve, I'd like for you to help us get a head start. All around the northern Barrens are sickly gazelles; use the salve on them and cure their malaise.

Dendrite Starblaze in Moonglade will want to talk to you when you're done, I'm sure. Please extend our thanks to the Cenarion Circle there... and let me say thanks to you directly for the help you've given!
