Dreadmist Peak is located Northwest of Crossroads at 47,16. Travel up to the top and you will see a small pond above the cave, with 4-6 mobs around it. You will also see an Undead that is Yellow to you and will not attack you, until you fill the flask. Once you fill it just run down or kill him.

I found the area at the top of Dreadmist Peak to be really difficult to see because of the red haze, obviously an affect to enhance the atmosphere of the area. I got through the mobs OK on either side of the pond (they don't all attack together) but when I filled the flask, 3 more appeared out of nowhere to attack. Not sure if this was a respawn or meant to happen, just a warning to others. Run, fast after you've filled the flask!

The exact location is 47,18
Kill the orcs that surround the lake and fill the flask.
When completed, some lvl 13 mobs get up from the ground and the red haze disappear...

IDK if they changed this just recently or not but as of 2.1.3 the haze doesnt disappear and the guy from UC doesnt attack, i was just ambushed by 3 lvl 12-13 mobs, very easy in bear form.

The previous coordinates are incorrect, I almost went the wrong way following the ones above. Exact coordinates are 48.4,18.9 (click link for map if you don't have coordinates).

I was able to fill the vial up, but I forgot about the adds and I wasn't prepared, managed to take two out, but I ended up dying.

if someone has problem with finding this, like me a bit, its on the really highest top of mountain, none of the small little camps at almost top and NOT in the cave, but OVER the cave =) a little smal tent or something there at the top ^^

Run like hell when you've drawn this sample, if you're anything like my druid the 3 level 13 mobs that appear will beat the crap out of you.

52,23 is a good place to start climbing up the mountain, so you avoid 80% of the mobs and you have a clean way almost exactly till the pool

52, 23 confirmed. Patch 2.4 update. Easy if u get a second person. Beware when u fill the vile they spawn. I got away by doing the infamous cliff jump. Kinda like rrussian rullet however.

so new to this game, but i'm learning.. but how do you find the exact coordinates? how do you know you are at 52,23?is there a special button?

Ghoste has correct co-ordinates, face NW and start climbing. You may want to combine this quest with getting one part of the pendant for the quest Trial of the Sea Lion.

Incase anyone else (like me) has a problem with not being able to turn this quest in ("?" appears over Tonga Runetotem's head, but you are not presented with the option to turn the quest in), it seems that this quest can be sensitive to different addons. Specifically (for me) it was "Extended Quest Log v3.7.12b" that gave me the problem....but I would expect if one could cause issues, then others could as well.

Succesfully filled the vial, had a nice chat with a Burning Blade Toxicologist lvl 14 & got away with that ;)

If you don't have coordinates, start climbing up the flank of the hill from the SE, which is near the main road that runs through the barrens. This will get you to the top without coming across any mobs.
When you get to the top, pass it to the south, and circle around to approach from the East. Take out the mobs near the pond. Then fill the flask, and RUN back the way that you came. If you run right away, you should be able to get away without having to fight.

If you do have to fight, remember that you have Bear form!

Is there an issue that needs to be fixed? I found the pool and there is a high level elemental in the pool that aggros on anyone who gets near the pool?Am I missing something it has not been mentioned in these posts?

I strongly suggest popping Nature's Grasp since only 3 enemies appear. They each hit me once and I was gone.

Descrição

Dreadmist Peak to the northwest of the Crossroads is most likely a primary candidate as to the source of the spread of the poison. Its airy peaks have pools of water that influence the weather patterns. I suspect the water is now tainted by the demon-worshipping Burning Blade.

Use this sampler to draw water from the pool at the very top of the peak. Once filled, deliver it to Tonga Runetotem at the Crossroads. He is the one that requested our aid, and you will work with him to address this malady.
