I found two caves at aproximatley 43,50. The two caves right there can give you 6 Fungis easily together.

I did it the lazy way. Find a cave, get all the mushrooms. Log out and work on another alt while the mushrooms respawn, then log back and repeat a couple more times, then hearth back to town.

I need to get earthroot... where can i get it? I got 2 by accident doing an OLD OLD quest in terdassil (sp?) in a chest. I have no clue wehre to get ti and i don't have herbalism as a proffesion... HELP!!

Don't worry about the Earthroot. Here's what you do: Wait until level 16 when you're doing the Trial of the Sea Lion quest. Follow madroxe's excellent tips.

As you're running through the Wetlands, stop and see Kixxle at 50, 38 (looks like a grell). Buy three Earthroot for 2s 40c. Then, when you reach Stormwind, see Bernard Gump (64,61) and/or Maria Lumere (46,78) to get the other two for 80c each.

Finish up this quest when you get back to the Auberdine area.

Doing class quests that in the end reward a class ability or spell will result in exp gain that suits your current level while doing them.

Doing this as level 14 is not the same as doing this as higher levels, the quest level will always be your own level so the exp rewarded will be high, on 70 you will get around 12500 exp since thats the normal rate for level 70 quests. If you dont feel like doing the quest on your level, feel free to skip it (like me) but complete it later on for a little exp boost!

For this quest chain: on level 32 I got 2000 exp per quest and for the final quest I got 2700. (Reputation gained seems to remain the same since 2.3)

I'm running the quest now, at Kixxle in Wetlands and he just got Vials. No Earthroot to be found. Patched away? OMW to SW, will update with info about them when I get there.

EDIT: Gump didn't have it either. AH that %^&*.

Pretty easy quest, takes 5 min to gather the Fungus, alto the earthroot is a bit annoying part, i traveled to Darn and AH, then Back ^^

Getting the Earthroot was a pain - and I'm a herbalist. Gump didn't have any Earthroot but I bought some from Maria Lumere twice (after logging out and back in again).
I also found a Battered Old Chest in the sea, west of the ship wrecks north of Auberdine. It was only just underwater between two peaks of land. In it was a bunch of loot including 3 Earthroot! Sorry I don't have coords.

If you don't want to check the AH for earthroot nor have Herbalism nor have somebody who can give it to you: here is a list of vendors. They all have it in limited supply, meaning it can be sold out (it will then not appear in their inventory) but will respawn eventually.

I love how the NPC basically tells you "oh and you're gonna need some earthroot, an herbalist should help you out, but if you aren't one or don't know any you're SOL."

750 experience (or a 45 compensation at level 80)

Well, I just did this quest, and to be it was level 80 in my Quest Log. Also, I didn't just get 45s, but 9g93s.

Descrição

The water will serve as the base of the curative salve I'll make for the deer. For curative properties, I need some earthroot. Herbalists know how to find it, so if we're unlucky and you aren't one then you'll need to find one to help us out.

Finally for potency, I need some lunar fungus. Finding lunar fungal blooms is easy enough; they're all over the place in caves just to the east of here. Moonkin reside in the caves and they're irritable as of late, so be careful.
