Any type of Bloodscalp Trolls will drop these necklaces.

I found a good drop rate at Bal'lal Ruins. (28,20)

I pretty much stuck around Bal'lal also. It's still a pretty poor rate, considering you need 25.

You can get this done at the Bal'lal Ruins (29,19) right ouside Grom'Gol Base Camp.

You should attempt the following quests together,

1) Bloodscalp Insight
2) Hunt for Yenniku
3) Bloodscalp Ears
4) Bloody Bone Necklaces

4 quests done at once.

I would try and find a site that hasn't been cleared for a while. I went to Bal'lal while it was full of trolls, no Allies or Horde around. Almost every single one dropped the necklaces.

After that, the respawn dropped 1 for every 7-8 trolls.

There are so many people on this quest! lol, hard to get away so you can kill them for yourself, but possible! helps if you have all the Bloodscalp troll quests at the same time so you can kill many bird with one stone! drops are not so great in this one, but for the BloodScalp ears quests they are pretty good, just look for the ruins, the main one that i worked with was the one right on the coast outside of the base camp... Good Luck!

Something i've found is that if you head to the Zuuldaia Ruins (18,10) there is no-one around, the drops are better, the mobs respawn faster and there's more of them around. the drop rate of the necklaces is still terrible though.

There are ruins to the Northwest of Grom'Gol, the ones that have the Bloodscalp Trolls, go there and kill them, any kind of them drop the necklaces. Drop rate is pretty decent, it's somewhat of a patience quest. Good quest to rack up some xp though.

The necklaces drop off of any Bloodscalp troll so you shouldn't go off farming them there are plenty of quests you can do with this quest:
Hunt of Yenniku
Headhunting
Bloodscalp clan heads

I was sent to Grom'gol to aid Nimboya on his quest, but... I too have reasons for being here.

The Bloodscalp tribe is enemy to our tribe. Collecting trophies of our enemies gives us power over them. You may aid our tribe by hunting our enemies.

They dwell to the north. Slay Bloodscalp trolls and take from them their bloody bone necklaces. Collect many, and your reward will be great.
