The termite mounds are found in random locations throughout the area of Plaguewood in the NW part of Eastern Plaguelands. Mobs of level 53-57 are in the area. Each termite mound will yield a large number of termites (around 20-30). Soloed by a level 53 druid by prowling around to find the termite mounds.

25, 26

How do i get there? Tirisfal Glades or is there a secret path on the rocks? pls help

you can get to the western plaguelands (WPL) by going through tirisfal glades yes. however if you aren't horde, or simply find that way dull^^ you can also get there via the alterac moubtains, you go to Strahnbrad and follow the road which goes east, when it turns north just keep following it, this will take you to the WPL (don't forget to take the flightpath in chillwind camp). to get to the eastern plaguelands (EPL) you just need to go north of andorhal and follow the road that goes east.

ps: don't go inside andorhal, it's filled with lvl 55+ mobs, and elites patrolling

imo this quest can be soloed way before lvl 55, I'm a lvl 53 shadow priest, with some ZF stuff and a couple of enchants, but nothing huge, I think this quest oughtn't be that big a problem for any class (especially paladins, hope they all rot in hell :p)

These are acutally found in Eastern Plague Lands, and its better to be about 55 or so and getting there can be a little tough but once you are there, watch out for the Scarlet Crusade Elite Patrol, It consist of 4-5 Bodyguards that are level 58 elites, and a level 60-62 Elite as well; I reccomend getting a group if your low 50s or even mid

As of patch 2.3, this quest now rewards 8150 xp

As of 2.3, you get 8150 for part one, 4050 for part 2 and 8150 for part three
Total of 20350XP for the entire chain.

Yes, they're random spawns, all in the purplish part on your minimap.

Took me 6 loots (I was at 99 after five!) with a low of 11 termites and a high of 29.

Note: this quest is accepted in western plaguelands, but the termits is in the eastern part plaguelands, with other words, do not try to get up the mountains in western plagualands! (as I did for about an hour..) go to eastern plagualands and then use the coords on the other comments above here, if you think the coords is wrong, think again, they are just for eastern :)

I found the mounds around the funny tower things just south of Stratholme.Not the PvP towers.The mounds are in Plaguewood,so just keep an eye out.They spawn in random places.Took me about 20 minutes to get all 100.

iam getting around 12-20 termites at each mound

I got them in meybe 6 loots. They dropped 11-28 for me, so quite fast. They are found near ziggurats. Kinda looks like wood stumps.They are clearly visible, and you shouldn't have problems finding them.

I did it with a 54 rogue and it was extremely easy.

There are big and small termite mounds... 11 lowest and 30 highest for me :D

NOTE -
Once you have completed the quest, DO NOT delete the termite jar. Even though you have the 100 termites in your inventory, the quest requires you to have the jar to complete it. I cannot seem to find another way to get another jar without abandoning the quest, which deletes your termites you have collected. Don't make the same mistake i did!

I highly recommend you do not do this quest while shapeshifted into this.

Use the Empty Termite Jar on the Termite Mounds in Eastern Plaguelands. After you've gathered 100 Plagueland Termites, return to Nathaniel Dumah at Chillwind Camp in Western Plaguelands.

I've tried many times to rout out the Scarlet Crusade through force alone, but to no avail. So, as an alternative, I've decided to make their lives more difficult.

If you are willing to help, I want to infest that lumber mill with the most terrible species of termites ever found.

In Plaguewood, near the once-great Stratholme, there is a breed that survived the plague and the Scourge combined. Find their mounds and fill this jar with them, so we can prepare them to be unleashed on the Crusade.
