It isn't worth the 15g because all you get is xp so don't waste 15g like I did.

YOU HAVE TO DO THIS QUEST to obtain "The Key to Scholomance" ( http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=5511 )
Your not paying 15g for 600xp in the long run. Like Pratt said, if YOU don't want the key to the instance then that's a different story but most people who do this quest line are here for the key not for xp.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't this quest used to be 50g? It's been a few years since I did it on my main.

ok if ur lvl 55 like me and saving for ur mount dont do it cause u dont get ur money back u just get the "The Key to Scholomance" but if ur not saving sure spend ur cash. YOU CANNOT GET INTO SCHOLOMANCE WITHOUT THE KEY ;)

If you do decide to do this quest, I suggest you bring 2 Thorium Bars with you. The next part in the chain will require them. It'll save you a trip and allow you to go straight to Un'Goro and do the next part.

Definitely worth doing this quest. 15g for almost no XP might sound bad, but the payoff in the end is better than having to find a Warlock to open the door via Hellfire suicide every time you want to go into Scholo.

PLEASE NOTE: You should do this quest before you attempt to grind Bloodsail Rep, I learned the hard way :(

The goblin you will need to speak with is Krinkle Goodsteel. He peddles his skills to the highest bidder in Gadgetzan, within the Tanaris desert. He'll likely be the only one who can produce the mold we need, and his services won't come cheap. We now ask for you to dig deep by footing whatever fee he will charge.
