As I read on other similar sites this quest gives upon completion 6600 exp and 100 reputation to AG.
Also it is available only for a revered status amongst the AG (meaning a reputation of minimum 21000)

As of patch 2.2, this quest now rewards the following:

Experience gained: 9550 (@ Level 60)
Argent Dawn reputation gained: 500

So if I have 10 valor tokens I can choose:

right click them for 1000 AD rep

or do this quest for 500 AD rep.

Easy choice..

The choice really is:

1000 AD rep versus
9550 XP + 500 AD rep

I'd actually choose the latter, and not worry about AD rep until after I hit 80 when I can solo Scholo and Strat, grind for alt mats and get this (and the AD Exalted rep Achievement) much easier.
