This quest is in LBRS. The mob you have to kill is a boss, it's the frog hexxing one.

Move your way through the normal way. I had to kill max 3 packs. When a pack has a Scarshield Warlock in it, nuke the warlock first. He summons like hell.

When you arrive at the place where you have three ogres in front of a gate, go down the ledge to the right of them. Enter the room and go up the pathway straight ahead (and a bit to the left) of where you entered. The first four mobs in that room is linked. Try to pull them away from the boss, as they might pull it when they run away.

The boss herself: Just nuke.

You think the boss can be soloed by a 70 druid?

I talked to the NPC that gives you this quest (Kilram in Winterspring).

I was level 70 and had 300 weapon smithing, and he had a conversation option that let me become a Master Axesmith without having to do the quest, so people who don't care about the Dawn's Edge pattern can probably just skip the LBRS quest.

This quest can be accepted if u cant Blacksmithing skill?

Do you have to be 300 blacksmith to learn to be an Axe smith? Since I'm 270 Blacksmith, and can't choose to be it.

Edit: I found out I had not done the "Become a Weaponsmith" quest... Stupid me.

What is quest requirement??

Says recipe is NOT BOP... Kinda strange?!?

Never seen it on AH yet.. Maybe it's just me... Or do you need Blacksmithing to get the quest?

Solo'd as a 70 prot paladin, pretty easily.

I had never been inside LBRS before so I found this shortcut to be extremely helpful:

This quest does not count towards the Loremaster of Kalimdor achievement.

Completed successfully with my lvl 72 prot warrior (battle stance, dps gear). My main problem was orientation, since all those classic dungeons were really confusing. About the boss, I tried the 'evade' tactic but the boss hexxed me and for some reason I was teleported to the lower level. At least I had killed one of the adds. I went back up to the boss room and I nuked the remaining add and then the boss.

These three quests:

Snakestone of the Shadow Huntress
Corruption

used to be required to learn hammersmithing, axesmithing, and swordsmithing respectively. While they are no longer required, blacksmiths of skill leve 250 or greater can still pick them up and complete them if they choose.

you can pick this up, but after a few minutes it gets deleted. Annoying because I picked it up, went to BRS and checked my quest log and it was gone.

"This quest was marked obsolete by Blizzard and cannot be obtained or completed." - this
