To get Trey's remains, you have to go a little further into Shadow Hold. First, go back to the area where Arko'narin found her gear. Go into the water and kill your way through the slimes. Note to Shamans/Druids: the slimes are immune to Nature spells.

Continue going the only way you can through the Hold. After maybe 8-10 mobs, you will go down a hallway which ends in a room. From the hallway you should be able to see the succubus Rakaiah standing in front of an altar, which is surrounded by four Darkweavers. You should be able to pull Rakaiah by herself. She is not difficult at all, and if you've managed to make it this far, you should make short work of her. After she's down, you'll see a yellow question mark light up over the altar. Trey Lightforge's remains are on this altar. You can pull the Darkweavers one at a time. Be sure to get all four before using the altar. Once they are all gone, you can use the altar to complete the quest. Return to the Emerald Sanctuary to get your reward.

This should be pretty easy. As a hunter, I had absolutely no problem one at a time. Even though they may seem close to each other, mobs won't aggro others when pulled. Just simply shoot (or whatever else you can do at a range) and run back into the hallway. Wait for them to get near the entrance to the hallway and turn around and fight.

Finished it in no time.

Easy quest .. the boring part is just to kill all the mobs until u get to her, well nice xp after all.

This quest is made even easier if you are a rogue. Simply stealth through the cave until you reach the room with Rakaiah. Kill the guard right outside the room, unstealth in the entrance, and it should immediately pull just Rakaiah. After you kill her, stealth into the room, sap each of the guards surrounding the altar, grab the quest, and then vanish back out.

If you are a lock and have used Shadowy Potion as part of the Lord Banehollow quest, everything is neutral to you up until you get to this succubus. She attacks you, so you have to kill her...

Complete the Lord Banehollow quest, then on your way out do the rescue quest. Turn in the rescue quest, and get Retribution of the Light.

Fight your way in and the succubus is still dead. I stood there and waited. Estimated 30 minute respawn time.

Tip: get this quest (Retribution of the Light) BEFORE doing the warlock epic mount quest (Lord Banehollow), and you won't have this delay.

My encounter with Rakaih
before the room with the remains of trey lightforge there is a small pillar behind a wall

which i used to LOS pull the mobs, as a paladin they all came behind the rock were i could just aoe them down, easy

For me, I died after killing Rakaiah since the rest of the locks aggroed me. I did kill her, but i died. Being a 53 rogue, after finishing A Final Blow, I ran up the curvy staircase, popped Evasion and Sprint, got the remains and vanished. Then hearthed out and flew back.

I just went in there with a lvl 53 hunter, made it easily all the way to her room (and killed her just fine) before realizing I was in the wrong cave (I was looking for Xavaric). Considering it's a lvl 57 quest, this just proves that it's not too hard.

You'll have to do "Rescue from Jaedenar" first ---> Rescue From Jaedenar
I saw the remains down in the cave but couldnt take the Quest.

She would like to pretend that she's fine. She'd love for me to think that she's strong enough to deal with all of this on her own, but I know better than that. Trey's death and hearing the torture he was put through is going to haunt her for a long time, and there's nothing we can do to stop that. But we can give her some peace!

<name>, return to Shadow Hold, kill Trey's torturer and find his remains. There is no reason we can't tie off all these loose ends while Arko'narin mourns in her own private way.
