Well this quest is bugged for me, I cogged the last two fires and they didn't say so on my quest log :(

Cave entry 35,60

It is in the big cave, the exact coordinates are:
Pain: 36,56
Hatred: 37,55
Suffering: 37,53
Malice: 38,53

Suggest at least 2 try a group of 3 easier.

They are bowls on the floor with a white flame in them.

And to all above who cares how you did it provide some information ya pack of little girls

Upon entering the cave, you'll hopefully get a drop that starts the quest A Strange Red Key (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=5202), which leads to the escort quest Rescue from Jaedenar (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=5203). The path taken by the escort quest hits all of the flames, so you can do the two quests concurrently. The Night Elf you're escorting will also help you by offtanking enemies along the route. With her help, I soloed this quest quickly and easily as a 56 warrior.

Easy quest. The cave you need is at 35,59, not the other cave near the entrance to Jaedenar.

Solo'd as a 53 Rogue ( no points in Sub) With clever use of sap, evasion, and blind/bandage it shouldn't be too hard. Just wait for your CDs to come back up after the fights. Be careful stealthing through, a couple tight places, use distract.

Very very easy as a lvl 54 warlock (full affliction). Use banish, take out the imps quickly and you should be fine :)

I did this quest solo with my 52 warlock, and it I was able to do it, but it was not easy. Doing this quest in a group or with at least a level 54 character if you are alone is advisable. If you just can't wait, bring LOTS of food, drink, and healing potions. You will need them.

it wasnt so hard with my 55 pala, but dont try to go further when you have done the quest if youre not in a group, its very hard

This quest is easy Just walk deeper and deeper in you will see them all on the way in I did it on my level 51 hunter just fine

This quest can be easily soloed as a rogue in stealth mode. I did it at lvl 55.

Soloed this as a 53 Rogue. Is cake at 2.4.2. All of the mobs are spaced so that you don't aggro others if you are careful. A lot of Warlocks and Imps. You might want to bring healing potions.

Note!

It's 35, 58...may seem very close but it's totally on the opposite end of the area when you're actually there. Turn around at 35, 60, go across the firepit, and you'll find it.

One thing to take note of is if you miss a brasier on your way through you cannot just 'guess' and douse one of the same ones again without using a 'charge' of the water. So, if you're like me and blow it, you're done, need to go back and re-get the quest from start. So definitely be more patient than I was or you'll have to start over.

Solo'd this as a level 51-52 Frost mage. I say level 51-52 'cause i ding'd 52 in the middle of the quest. it takes longer but can be done solo.

i solo this cave at lvl 53 rogue and killed everything in my path
the day after that, i get this quest <.< XD

I did this as a lvl 54 hunter, and it took 5 mins. The braziers were pretty much in a straight line and you can douse them in any order you want.

Per Patch : 2.4.3 all add ons aren't ready yet for the picking, but coordinates is an add on called "World Map" can get at ... (You'll have to google, because it's off from this site.)

Now, back to this quest. If you are turning in at Greta Mosshoof in the Emerald Sanctuary, take the short cut back to Bloodvenom Post, so you don't have to RUN all the way to Jadenaar.

Soloed as a lv 49 Shadow step Rogue in pv blues and greens. Leave the lv 55 demon's alone. On the first brazier single pull the felhounds from above with a ranged weapon, then get the brazier. The third brazier is tricky. SIngle pull the loc in the center of the room into the hall way before trying to clear the two NPC's at the 3rd brazier else he will pull. Good luck.

I had a tough time finding my way. I had them marked on the map, but at one point it seemed I was going around in circles.
I knew I was back at the one I'd already done.

At one point I was looking down in a room and decided to just jump down to get there. If there was a way down, I could not find it.

I found the last 2 in that lower room.

two get down to the second floor you go down the right door in the candle room. this is a room filled with candle shaped in the letter o
Suffering: second floor not hard to find
Malice: second floor not hard to find
Note: to save you some time save the girl after you kill everything. you will need the red key and you get it off a mob. when she get her stuff from a box on the bottom floor be ready to fight your way out.

I disagree, soloed this easily as a level 50 rogue.
For stealth/prowl users this quest is very easy, just sneak behind their backs and relax. Rogues can do Distract-Sap combos to remain unnoticed and compete the quest without a single fight. As for the others, just try not to aggro more than one mob. The blaziers should be easily found by simply going deeper into the cave, they're all by the main 'path'.

im a level 55 preist i followed a level 55 ally in he killed most of the creatures in there so just followed till i came to each flame and i doused them some i did have to kill but they were level 52- 54 so not bad also they had a slow respawn time even though i went quite fast they hadnt respawned like they usually do in dungeons or instances on the way out i followed a diff player out of the actual ruins and it was easy as that i got lucky i guess

As of patch 4.01 you can still fail this quest by dousing one lamp twice -- and no, using the quest item on the pans of flames does NOT stop them from sparkling. Per a GM, if you do this, and run out of water to complete the quest, you do still have to abandon the quest and start over.

Take home lesson here is keep a close eye on the your quest log and the number of charges of dousing water you have in inventory.

Soloed as 46 boomkin. Easy as hell, mobs come in 2-3 at a time, easily outdamaged, never went oom, never had to eat or drink, just plowed through all of them. Had missed one flame though, so had to run it all over again looking for it. Didn't die once though.

Now, you must return to Jaedenar. The braziers are more than likely spread throughout Shadow Hold. Douse each of their flames and the protections the Council has set up will fall for at least a short period of time. I will be waiting for that to happen. When it does, I will look deep within the Hold and try to find out who the head of this beast is. Then, and only then, will we see about attacking them directly.
