Oddly enough I got this quest the other day and despite the quest text there's no marker to take to Mellor. Shadowhoof just hands over the +15 sta neck item there and then in Winterspring.

The Hunter's Insignia Medal sells for 61s 45 c

yeah says to turn in in thunder bluff but it was changed so that he just gives you the exp / item himself. now thats free exp! :)

Anyone else having issues completing this quest? I finished all the quests up to it. And this one should be a simple grab and go. 58 BM Hunter here. And for some reason its telling me quest failed. Is the level requirement higher than wowhead says?

This is as of patch 3.0 not 2.4.3 as the thread reads.

10-20-08 : Fixed, guessing it had something to do with the latency my servers been dealing with
