The package is located 38, 55, which is right outside of the house, inside of a barn.

If you're around lvl 50, watch out for the undead mob inside of the barn.

Watch out for the Scarlet Crusade, a patrol of them comes pretty close to the barn and sometimes they'll chase after an undead mob and come close enough that you might aggro them as you come out, that and they tend to pull mobs into a crowd just to the left of the entrance as you're coming out.

The quest begins with Janice Felstone who is located in the house at Felstone Field (around 37,57) in Western Plaguelands.

She'll ramble on about a package and being stuck in this life. Once you accept the quest, head out to the barn located to the right of the house where you found Janice.

Fight the three mobs if necessary, but the parcel you need is on the floor immediately to the left as you enter the barn.

This is the part that is misleading. Click on the package once, go through the prompts, then click on the package yet again to pick it up for delivery to Undercity.

The guy you need to talk to is in the guild tabard section of Undercity on the left. He'll tell you that the package actually belongs to the roach vendor. See the roach vendor (Jeremiah Payson located under the stairs in UC) to complete this section of the quest.

If you so choose you can then pick up "Good Luck Charm" which leads to the quest"Two Halves Become One".

Easy enough, lots of stuff you have to kill, but as level 54 hunter I found it very easy. I wasn't so lucky as to just look around the corner and grab the package however, but managed to get out of there with the goods. Seems to lead to a series of quest, all pretty easy, especially with this site.

When you initially engage the ghost of Janice in conversation she says a variety of things including "Shhh... do you smell something?"

This is a reference to a line spoken by Dan Aykroyd in the original Ghostbusters movie (1984). At the beginning of the film as his character Ray is investigating a disturbance at the library with fellow Ghostbusters Peter and Egon, he says, "Listen... Do you smell something?"

Gotta love it!

The ramblings of the ghostly woman indicated that she needed a package delivered. She claimed that it was where her horse was. As to where the horse is or where the package was to be delivered - the ghost remains incomprehensible.

"The package must be delivered... delivered before I'm trapped here!"

The cries of a panicked woman feel almost like a whisper floating through the house. Cowered in the upstairs corner is the apparition of a woman. She does not seem to be fully cognizant of her surroundings, and she is only vaguely aware of you.

"Are you here to deliver my package? Please, before it gets much worse! I was going to ride out of here. It should still be by my horse... or am I too late?"
