Locations above are correct. The Crate of Foodstuffs is easy to get. The Research Equipment is in an area with lots of elites. Beware that the big dinosaurs that show as yellow (neutral) will infact attack you. At least they attacked and killed me, while on my mount. Terribly long walk back.

The food crate was easy to get to and loot. The research equipment crate area was PACKED with high level mobs ... thick like roaches! I was on my mount and had to keep running around trying to avoid aggro. I did it solo; if I didn't have my pet I would have died. GL !! :)

As a level 51 druid, I stealthed to the research equipment then slept one of the nearby beasts and soothed the other. Then... I ran :)

lvl 48pally just ran into buble+loot and ran away after.

5,8k armor really helps for the running.

So easy lvl 49 rouge stealthed in picked it up and left had to vanish once but all in all it was really easy

Research equipment was hard to get, did it with mage + warlock lvl 51, had to polymorph one of the elites that aggrod us, get the stuff and run out.

Beware those elite dinosaurs, they are really MEAN!

To get the research equipment, it's possible to sneak into the camp from the north, avoiding all but one Elder Diemetradon, which is practically standing on top of it. How to deal with this last guy depends on your class. As a 50 warrior, I used intimidating shout, and got the equipment while he was stunned. Then, I ran as fast as I could to the lake to the northwest, because the dinosaurs won't follow you into the water.

Solo'ed as level 48 warrior, there were elites but like said before if you watch the paths you can walk right up and take it. No fighting involved for me

As of patch 2.3, only the Stegodon's are elites.

14 Feb 2008 - lvl 48 feral droooooooood - on Skullcrusher (PvP) (this will be my 3rd toon to level to 70). Aside from being hunted by some higher level Horde that seemed to not have anything better to do. ( they did not get me but wasted a lot of time avoiding them) :) This quest was very doable solo. It is all about stealth and timing for a druid. I did not have to fight or kill one MOB. Easy quest and good XP. All coordinates given previously are correct!

All elite dinosaurs in the area 38,67 (equipment) were red. I did not see any yellow, however, it's easy to run away from them. At the site, I waited just a bit, all the mobs around the equipment go in opposite direction and gave me enough time to open it, get the items, and run....

Um, Williden Marshal does realize he's standing only a couple of yards from a griffin flight platform, right? Methinks he's been inhaling fumes from the tar pits.

I don't know how you made it here, but you're a sight for sore eyes! I'm Williden Marshal, and I lead a non-aligned expedition troupe. Our latest and greatest endeavor has met with what seems like countless disasters, the most serious of which being that we underestimated the savagery of Un'Goro Crater!

As we fled our base camps in the southwestern and northeastern parts of the crater, we left behind vital supplies. You look like you're capable enough - can you help us by getting them back?
