Quest starts in the village that has the teleport to Darnassus, NPC is at 55,92. Really easy quest.

The drops here are feathers that are found on the ground (not by killing anything). They take some wandering around to find properly - however, a lot seem to drop around Quel'Danil Lodge around (33,47).

I should have used wowhea earlier for this quest. I grinded 30 minutes for nothing. :-P

When you get the Quest, head to the Quel'Danil Lodge in the Hinterlands (If you're Alliance). The co-ords are 31,49.

The mobs outside the Lodge won't attack you, and there's plenty of feathers to gather around there. Really easy :)

Theres several just south of agol' watha (with all the slimes).

Thanks, I spent an enormous amount of time actually killing them waiting for the drop; the quest never implies that it isn't a dropped item :*(

Eh, I guess blizz can't word every quest right. But what's wrong with all the feathers on the 100 owlbeasts I just killed?

As of patch 2.3.2 this quest now rewards a level 46 with 6k exp instead of 4,2

This quest starts at Rut'theran Village. The questgiver, Erelas Ambersky, is at . The feathers are found in The Hinterlands. 2 of them spawn next to each other around .

Level 45 NE Hunter, only had to kill a few of the moonkin. Very easy with Scatter Shot, Feign Death, and a pet to take aggro while you collect feathers. :)

Would be nice if you guys said how to get to Hinterlands from the quest giver..

For those that do not know the way to Hinterlands, like me, you need to get to Southshore, which is northwest of Wetlands. Go northeast from there, Hillsbrad Foothills and make your way to the back of Durnholde Keep. There is a path that leads to Hinterlands and is apparently the only way to get there.

As of patch 2.4.3 I got 1g 35s, 6050 xp, and 250 rep. with Darn as a lvl 46 shaman.

don't see why this quest is red at 42..

involves picking up feathers in an area with yellow mobs..

not that hard at lvl 42 :s

This took me about 10 minutes. It's incredibly easy, best drop rate I found was south-east of Aerie Peak.

Wildkin are quite unpredictable creatures, <name>. Capable of incredible gentleness, these creatures will show extreme ferocity if something they deem important is threatened.

These beasts are rumored to have been created by Elune, and I am interested in finding if this is really the truth.

Recently, I heard about a population of wildkin living in the Hinterlands -- Vicious, Primitive, and Savage Owlbeasts. They can be found amongst the wildlife there. Will you gather some wildkin feathers for me?
