Get a good party for this because Amnennar is pretty hard. Amnennar uses frost spells and you should defeat Amnennar quickly.

The lich summons minions during the fight, but he shouldn't be a problem with the right group. Make sure all your focus fire is on the lich. The most common drops from him are the plate helmet or the dagger - the robes are actually pretty rare.

The Lich is on top of a spiraling hill. If you walk into the instance head right where you see undead summoners and ghosties. And you'll probably pass Glutton on the way, if that helps.

As for the level you can recieve this at, I can confirm you get it at 39. I went with a party for this at 38 and the Bishop's quest mark was greyed out to me. But I Still got Robes of the Lich out of it!

allly take this quest from a guy named http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=1284 and you can take it then you are in lvl 39 a really nice weap for pvp

As you accept the quest, the archbishop will make you a fortitude buff.

Just completed this with my lvl 70 char and received 500 rep with Stormwind, not the 350 reported above.

This quest needs to be dumbed down in level requirements, the boss is only level 37 now and it takes level 39 to get the quest?

Something's just not right with that.

EDIT REPLY: Yes, I know, but it was already high to begin with, now it's absurd. Horde version has a lower req than this.

They must have changed the level req. on this quest at some point, I was able to accept it at level 36.

where exactly is this instance for this quest located?

Dungeon is located on the south end of the barrens, right before the elevator to Thousand Needles. Razerfen Kraul is on the West side, and Razerfen Downs is on the East side, buried way in the back of the village area.

Haven't done the alliance quests for those dungeons, but did do the horde quests. Recommend bringing a couple of high level well equipped friends to clear it quickly.

Nothing showing up on Lightheaded. When you enter the instance go right and kill your way to the top - boss is there. He drops a great Rogue blade in addition to the one you will get for finising the quest.

I've never bother to do this quest, but as a Paladin leveling I found it nice to accept to this quest, then just abandon it since you get a 30 min +32 stamina buff =). So I did this when ever I had to train my pala :p

Verifying that this quest does indeed count for the Loremaster of Kalimdor Achievement.

It does NOT count for Loremaster of Eastern Kingdoms.

I got this Q at lvl 32 as a paladin. I'm a ret paladin, so I was looking for a nice sword, then I saw the quest and decided to get the vanquisher's Sword http://www.wowhead.com/?item=10823 which is the reward from this Q. I asked one of the guys in my guild to run me through RFD and I finished the quest in about 7 minutes. Awesome!

The Scourge is a persistent threat to the Alliance, a fact I am sure you know quite well. Recently, we have come across some very peculiar findings, <name>.

In the Barrens lies a horrid tangle of briars called Razorfen Downs. While once it was the home of simple quilboar, now it has become apparent that a pact was made with the Scourge, creating creatures far worse... They are now ruled by the lich, Amnennar the Coldbringer.

Align yourself with the Light, <name>; put an end to this evil union.
