Skulk Rock is a hill with a small cave and can be found on the map in the northeastern side, just south of the river. If you have a coordinates plugin, the enterance is at 57,43.

Jade Ooze are located on the outside and Green Sludge can be found inside the cave and on top of the mound outside. Both mobs are level 46 - 49 and can usually be pulled one at a time.

The enterance to the cave, where you can find the mose Green Sludge can be found at the bottom of the north side of the hill (57,38)

As of patch 2.3.2 this quest now rewards 6,4k exp at level 46

These mobs have very high resist to nature attacks, I've found that about 80% of my earth shocks were resisted.
It's usefull to use frost shock :)

Rogues! Strange as it may seem, you can pick the "pockets" of these oozes, so be sure to!

Most annoying quest ever as a elemental shaman... wearing mainly cloth, I usually deal 500-600 damage on lightning bolt, with those damn resistances, it goes to about 70-90 on the Jade ones... not fun

There is some great ore here for any miners. I found two Gold veins, one outside the cave and one inside, and also a Mithril vein.

As a Fire mage level 46, all my fire spells did 50 to 100 less damage than normal (Normal: 500-550 for a fireball, i was only getting about 450 dmg per spell.) It took a while to kill all these oozes.

One more thing: these enemies drop ooze-covered bags. I found 3 of them during the quest, and every one of them had two Greater Mana pots inside, along with a few silvers. In the Thunderlord server, you can get 2.5 or 3 g per stack of these potions.

They're actualled called Scum Covered Bags.
They have 100% to have 2 mana potions and some silver, low chance of items and low chance of low level herbs,
I got a of the tiger green sword from a bag and I got some silverleaf from another.

Green Sludge can be found at 49,48 and Jade Ooze are around 56,43

Yes, if you are an Elemental shaman, DO NOT DO THIS QUEST!

Unless you like spending 3/4 of your mana bar killing each mob, or if you're super-twinked and do extreme damage.

My Lightening Bolts which do 350-400 on regular mobs and crit for 800-1000 only did 100-150 on the Oozes and critted for around 300.

I hate these quest not enough mobs not finish the quest spawn at once. I can only ever find 7 Jade ooze at a time whenever I do this.

For those elemtal shamans (or any shamans really) wishing to do this quest i suggest you do this:
1: Throw on a 2hand meele with flametounge or frotband,
2: Use flame shock then use frost shock repeatedly,
3: Use Searing, magma and fire nova totems.
4: Along with those use and frost / fire attacks you have and they should go down fast.
Do all these and the oozes should go down fast and easy and you'll be awarded a nice 6,300xp and 50s :)
(Also FYI if your lucky those Scum Covered Bags will drop you a disgusting oozeling wich is a tiny pet blob that gives of a aura that turns you green and reduces your stamina or something like that.) Good Luck!

Edit: Also for those looking for more oozes theres a totaly of 3 spots with them (i belive its 3) There spawned at The creeping ruins, Skulk Rock and Agol'Watha. Happy hunting!

Lol, when i was exploring Durotar for the Explore Kalimdor achievement, i noticed an area in Durotar called "Skull Rock."

I wonder if there was a quest called "Skull Rock Clean-up"...

Made this at Skulk Rock. It took really long time there, because there are like only 3 green sludge.

We Wildhammers remember the past, more than our brothers in Ironforge. If you want to make friends here, then you get your hands dirty for us!

The Horde abandoned their positions in the Hinterlands around Skulk Rock; it's now overrun with nasty sludges and oozes. We've got plans on that area, but first we need a clean-up crew to make a hole for us.

That's where you come in, Sunshine! Head down there and take out ten green sludges and ten jade oozes, then report back to me here. Move out!
