You do not need to keep the Goblin Transponder in your inventory (or bank). You can simply discard it after transporting to Gnomeregan. To get another one, simply speak to Scooty again and tell him that you lost the first one.

WARNING: I just had a GM confirm that this quest (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=7728 ) is the one that BUGS the Gnomeregan teleporter quest line!!!!

If you complete STOLEN: Smithing Tuyere and Lookout's Spyglass before you complete Chief Engineer Scooty (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=2842 ), you can NOT pick up that quest anymore, and you will NOT be able to get your Goblin Transponder (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=9173 ) to teleport to Gnomeregan.

Reminder: Chief Engineer Scooty is obtainable after you talk to Nogg next to Sovik and accept Rig Wars (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=2841 ).

The GM escalated my ticket to a Character Specialist, said it will take 3-5 days for him to respond. Currently waiting for the response.

As horde you have to pick up the Quest called Rig Wars in order to pick up Chief Engineer Scooty.

Speak to Sovik in order to take (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=2842).I received my transponder
use it 3 times for run Gnomeregan (teleported).I soloed as 38 lvl Tauren druid

I talked with a GM today and he said to me that they are still working on that... But he also said to pick the http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=2841 and then he gave the http://www.wowhead.com/?item=9173 to me :P

Just to mention that if u don't have done the http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=7728 u will get the quest with no problems.

When i were on the http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=7728 quest, i could'nt get http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=2842, but after abandoning the "stolen" quest, i got it.

This is no longer of use but for any xp that it gives because of the new random dungeon finder option

Descrição

As long as you have the transponder in your possession, all you need to do is step on the pad and you'll be teleported to Gnomeregan.

You may experience some unusual side effects, but none of those should be permanent... anymore.

I almost forgot the most important part - getting back. When you're ready to come back, just step on the transpolyporter pad in Gnomeregan!

Now to calibrate the transponder to your size and weight.
