This was a pretty easy quest for my 30 hunter. Stated coords are correct and you'll run into vile fangs outside the cave. There's 2 tight groups around fires that you'll probably want to avoid unless your group can handle aggroing 5 or 6 mobs but if you're solo like I was, there's others that are spaced nicely for single pulling. The cave is small but is where the tainted ones are located and they're also nicely spaced. The most I ever aggro'd at a time in the cave was two, which was no problem for my hunter to manage. Also found an iron node in the cave but it's a small cave and that was the only node I found.

mob loc is 74,67 and for those of you to lazy to get the addon its the cave south east of darkshire

Watch out if you're a Frost Mage, these guys have high Frost resistance. Other than that, you'll get done with the Vial Fangs before you even get into the cave.

At around 58.80 there is an entrance to a small ravine that leads up to the back of the cave. Mobs are a bit more spread out and it's much easier to solo. There's also a few Tainted One's there as well that are easier to solo than those in the cave.

Tip: don't die in the tunnel/cave. The ones in there have a very fast respawn rate and by the time you get back it will be filled with mobs again and you will have to die like 5 times to get out of there.

For skinners this is a great area to grind, farm, & quest. At lower levels (high 20s) you can sit on the bluff near the cave entrance and pull them one at a time. If you have bad pull (i.e. Gutspill) you can run back up the hill (check out your escape route first). Watch for chests in the two grouped areas outside the cave -- they show up fairly regularly and can be farmed as you gain levels. Once you can handle two at a time, the first group immediately outside the cave can be easily farmed. The one near the fire you have to be able to take on 3-4 at a time.

Green drop rate is not too bad, and I've gotten at least two blues after an hour or so. If you're on a pvp server it's also out of the way of the most popular Horde ganking routes. Once you are well into your 30s you can continuously farm this and the rotting orchard next door with almost no down time and be rolling in skins. I agree with the comment about the second cave area being a gem as well.

The mine has the exact amount of Tainted Ones you need for a quest, plus a random named mob that, to my knowledge, ~~doesn't drop any quest items or serve any purpose.~~

EDIT: Scratch that, it's Gutspill and he drops an item for a warrior quest. He's not terribly difficult, but I suggest pulling the worgen at the doorway first, then waiting for Gutspill to pat back to the door, as you don't want him joining the fun when you're already fighting a mob.

I highly recommend doing this in a group. The Vile Fangs aren't the problem, as they're nicely spread out. Tainted One's are all in the cave, and it can become very messy when it's solo'd. I had a lvl 27 Warlock, myself a lvl 28 Warlock and a lvl 22 Druid for healing. Finished the quest with no problems after that :)

This was incredibly easy to solo as a lvl 30 mage! You may need to clear one or two Vile Fangs to do this, but if you circle around the edge of the area, you can get to a safe spot at 71.14, 73.86 near the entrance to the mine. Be careful not to sit on the little hill that will be on your left because you will aggro a Vile Fang that spawns just above the camp there.

From here you can pick off the 2 Vile Fangs that spawn between you and the entrance without adding the others. In the 5-10 minutes it takes these two to respawn, you can slip down and pick off the Tainted One that spawns just outside the entrance, then run back up to the safe spot again. With a little patience you can cycle through all of them until you complete the quest.

Of the worgen that have made their new home here, the Vile Fangs and the Tainted Ones have proven the most dangerous. They've settled down near some of the caves and in the mine to the south.

From far away you can even see the light from their bonfires...
