You have to finish the Defias botherhood chain to get thsi quest.

You will need to get the final Defias Brotherhood quest from Gryan Stoutmantle before she will offer this quest.

The droprate is horrible low, I suggest to do this quest only if you go into the instance and don't farm it outside.

An easy quest to complete. The rewards aren't worth anything really but the XP is nice. The drop rate for these is pretty high so you'll complete it rather quickly. Really you don't have to enter the instance to do complete it.

I've missed this quest several times.
This is unlocked ONLY after you escorted the Defias Traitor to Moonbrook and successfully finished the quest. (But make sure you turn it in).
These drop of of any Defias in Deadmines.
They all do not have to be inside the instance. Pretty straightforward and easy quest.

This does drop from the Defias outside the instance. However, it is probably seen as a dungeon quest since it's so close.

To me this seems rather stupid to have http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=155 as a requirement. If you don't get boosted through the Defias Brotherhood chain, or just don't solely focus on it, you'll pick this quest up at around level 18-22 when you've just finished DM with your regular group after finishing all the quests in Westfall. Exactly what happened to me, now i have this as my ONLY quest in Westfall as a level 21 priest, and it's green to me.

You actually also need to have completed Red Leather Bandanas in order to pick this quest up.

It's no secret that the trademark of the Defias Gang is their Red Bandanas. But we've learned that the material from which these bandanas are made signifies the member's rank.

That being said, I want you to eliminate as many high ranking Defias members as you can. The highest ranking members will undoubtedly be found in VanCleef's secret hideout. When you're done bring me 10 Red Silk Bandanas as proof of their deaths and I will reward you. Good luck, <name>.
