Find "Plucky" Johnson (he's a little chicken). Click on "Plucky" Johnson and then type /beckon. He will morph back into a man. Talk to him to get the password.

Just curious ... how would one discern that /beckon would de-morph Plucky. ?

only /beckon gets him to tell u the code and u have to be on the quest to /beckon and him come out /chicken works all the time but u cant get the phrase, also when u do the beckon emote he doesnt just transform he turns friendly and comes to you

i dont know how or why but when i typed /beckon on plucky it did work. it took me a couple of mins to find him though!!

Pretty weird. If you hang around a minute he will of course change back into a chicken. And, of course, the command will work on him again if you try it. Useles information but someone might want it.

You can find him around oppisite the guy who gives you the quest, and is by the tower, next to the starting area.

Typing /beckon will turn him into human form and you can speak to him for the password, but as a little treat, you can type /chicken and he will turn into human and give you a little wave :)

Ok to find "Plucky" you can simply type /chicken. My thinking was back to the "chicken" quest in Westfall. You go to the farm house and buy the special chicken feed then click on a chicken and type /chicken until you never want to hear the "chicken" bit again. Once the chicken turned green, you type /cheer and you can move your mouse over the chicken and see the !.. accept of course then fishing and you end up with a chicken egg. How anyone ever figured out /beckon I'll never know. my hat's off to you though. I tried /come /followme /&*!@ingmeoff and about everything else I could think of.. it was only thing that I turned to my favorite wow search web site "Wowhead". Good Job everyone who figured all this stuff out! :)

You can find Plucky to the right of the quest giver. He is standing next to the stands. Just click on him and type /beckon. Once he turns back into a man, click on him and ask to read the phrase. Not too hard once you find him. The coordinates 79 75 were correct for me.

/Chicken temporarily de-Morphs Plucky where he will wave to you then go back into his chicken form. You wont be able to talk to him or anything else to progress this quest, so you'll have to /Beckon him.

I found myself scratching my head as to why I wasn't able to talk to him for awhile before I figured out I had to beckon him like how Race Master Kronkrider tells you to do.

I can help you with the book, but first you have to help me!

The tome you seek is in my magically locked strongbox. To open it a special phrase must be uttered, and I can't remember the phrase! Normally my assistant helps me remember these things but he's nowhere to be found.

If you want my book, then find my apprentice! Ask around the race track--if you're lucky then someone has seen him. Either drag him back here, or at least get my magic phrase from him so we can open my box!
