carrion recluse are found at raven hill

The carrion recluse are spread throughout the raven hill cemetary, specifically, and they also have a 100% chance of dropping the silk so long as you have this quest.

As of the new patch 2.3 you can get these off the Black Widow Hatchling Spiders too. Co ords are roughly 28,50. Loads of them around there and 90% drop rate. Best of luck!

nice reward it is 2 chest 2 choose one one with 6stamina 6interlect and 6spirit and one with 6 stamina 9 intlercet.. very nice ofc as twink mage i choosed the one with 6 stamina and 9 interlect. Btw Black Widow Hatchlings don't have 100% drop rate on the Silk u need for this quest... just made it killd many more then 8.. god Luck for u rest that does this quest ( Observe it is mage quest ;P )

There are estimatedly ~5-7 Carrion Recluse's in Raven Hill cemetary, what I could find. There are tons of Black Widow Hatchlings next to the Cemetary but the droprate 50% sucks compared to the Carrion Recluse's so I suggest just going to the Cemetary to kill the spiders and wait for the respawns, 'cause they indeed have the 100% droprate.

This quest is available once again, received it today in SW mage tower.

This quest is still obtainable, and completable up to the point where you go to turn it in, then it magically disappears. So, dont do the work. Or you will want to punch archmage whoever in the face like i do right now.

You must enter Duskwood and hunt carrion recluse spiders. Extract their silk, but only the finest, most pristine silk will do. When you have enough, take it to Wynne Larson, here in the mage district at the Larson Clothiers. She will craft your robe.
