Just follow the road. He's easy to solo. 12-14 is recommended. Bring some healing stuff too.

I tried soling him at level 10. Not a great idea. I was about to die when I got healed from nowhere, and then noticed it was a shaman. He was level 24 (THANK GOD!!) and he killed him and turned this back. Thank you that level 24 shaman whereever you may be. This quest should be done with a group at lvl ten or solo at 13.

Please can someone tell me where must i stand to see thease funny undead, or where must i sit ???i don"t know becose i just start play first for rogue please and i must be on the way from the Undercity to Silverpine Forest???

It's easy soloable, here's what i did: talk to him, he will attack you then just do highest possible DPS and don't forget to use evasion right after he attacks you (I didn't dual wield so if u dual wield it will even be easier) when u got 10% health left gouge him, use sprint and run away for like 3 seconds, then quickly first aid yourself if possible, then DPS him again. He should be around 20% or less when u are around 10%. Look out, he's not hostile, he is allied so don't look around for hostile mobs.

Really easy to solo @ 10 even with only white items.

Brought him down with 2 Stilleto's wich u can buy everywhere + Slumber Sand wich is a Q reward from: http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=368

When u r low on health pop a Slumber sand on him and u can bandage all the way... full health again + full energy bar.

Al u have to do now is finish him of hehe

same here, no difficulty at all, did not even have to use sand. Just dont save eviserate to the end use in middle ull have enough CP's to use again by the end

he goes from Under City to the bridge in silver pine if u go along that path and wait somewhere he will come to u

Very easy, I found him pretty close to undercity, just go back and forth between the road to silverpine forest and undercity, ull find him eventually.

He walks between the Undercity and The Sepulcher. I've seen him near Undercity, and by the bridge and in The Sepulcher. Easly solo'ed by a level 12 Rogue.

If your having problems finding him, he travels back and forth from the UC to the Sep, u can find him on the road =D

I had a hard time killing him but ended up kiting him with my throwing weapon. Not hard, try it if you have trouble.

You apparently need to be friendly with UC to accept this if youre not an UD or bloodelf. Since this one is easier than the orc/troll version.

Just wait for him to go close to the guards of the Brill and talk to him.take the first hit and let guard do the rest.loot and u are done.

Very easy to solo ... u just wait for him at the bridge in silverpine ... u'll find someone friendly passing ... that's him ... talk to him first and then u'll be able to attack and take the letter ... gl :)

did it at 10. used gouge alot. and popped evasion and pots. grey/white gear.

If you wait until he's in Brill to engage, the guards in town will help you kill him. I had no problems soloing him at 11, but some might find this helpful anyways.

attack, then USE the sleeping powder you get earlier and bandage up.

This quest made me jump in my seat!

I had actually been reading through the plot for this quest since I hadn't done it before. "It will be better for you if you know less of the nature of this business." So I was curious to find Astor to see what he would say. After all, as a Rogue, I like this sort of mysterious, mob-like kind of business.

Clicking through the plot lines, like I did with any other quest NPC, I was surprised when he started attacking me! And so I killed him out of self-defense, of course, surely any jury would understand. Haha.

For a tiny level 10 quest, this is one of my new favorites in WoW. I haven't done the follow-ups yet, but I can say I won't look them up here to ruin the surprise! Great plot for this series.

Apparently if two rogues kill him, only one will get the quest item. My rogue initiated combat with him through the conversation options, and my companion got the letter. Now I have to wait for a respawn.

Starting off on a fresh server, i had two Gladius' for weps. he killed me once. he crushed every hit. so I'd gouge and run so i could throw at him. then i popped evasion and whooped him nice and good. no pots. i was level 10

Just sinister striking him until 5 points then eviscerate.
Gouge and backstab and all over again.

Had trouble finding him, but soled him easy at ten with a Feral Blade in mainhand and Skinning knife offhand as I hadnt found anything else yet. No potions or evasion either, just make good use of slice and dice.

Easily soloed at lvl 10 i opened up with doing some sinisters and then popped evasion at around my 65% then continued to build up 5CP then evisc
then after evasion was over i used my gouge and healed up a little bit with a bandage then continued to kill him

I need help I found him but he doesn't do nothing after I speak to him. And he's not walking anywhere just staying in one spot on the crossroads of silverpine and Undercity.I don't know what to do.
