These guys are all around south of Steamwheedle port, near the coords 62,35-ish. I soloed this as a 41 Human Mage. Pretty easy to do even if you accidentally pull several at a time. It seemed to me that bandits are much more prevalent than thieves.

When I did this I farmed the mobs at about 60.24 in the ruins. Often you will get either thieves or bandits faster than the other kind, and you may want to get respawns. It seems to be random whether thieves or bandits spawn, so kill both kinds, as they are very nice grinding targets anyhow.

You might wanna pick up the wastewander pouches both for the quest, and for turn-ins at Gadgetzan.

Very very easily solo'd at lvl 43 Shaman... Pull and kill... Coords listed above are a very good spawn site.,,

a manageable quest, do take note not to sell the pouches though, just keep them to finish the first pouch quest provided by the same questgiver. you could choose to sell the leftovers, since the rewards for the pouch quest (if you repeat it, that is) does not give exp, just rep and the crate. your choice, anyhow.

The mob themselves give 2-3 rep with all goblin cities when killed.

And if your a leather worker, tough scoprid patterns drops form these guys.

The wastewander bandits are located in two different places. The first location is the Noonshade Ruins located around 59,25 and the other location would be the north Waterspring Field around 61, 31.

I would personally farm these mobs in the Waterspring Field because it is a more open area to spot the mobs so you don't pull too much. Also you will eventually run into Caliph Scorpidsting http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=2781 who walks in this general area of Bandits and theives.

I'm noticing people saying that one type of the mobs is more prevalent than the other, and just something I noticed while I was doing the quest was that one type wasn't quite more prevalent than the other, it's just they share spawn points, and each spawn point can pop either a Bandit or a Thief. So if you still need Thieves and all you see is Bandits, just kill off all the Bandits and hopefully a few Thieves will spawn.

Also note that I did the entire quest at the Noonshade Ruins, so this may not be true at the other location where they spawn.

watch out for caliph scropidsting. he has around 4 guards and you cant see him until urontop of him.

Soloed this as a lvl41 priest. Easy stuff.

I went to the ruins , and it's by far the easiest place to grind.

You might want to get 15 Wastewander Water Pouch for other quests in Gadgetzan.

Also, it spawns *many* Purple Lotus there. Good for herbalists.

Do it with Water pouch bounty

Calign Scorpidsting should be patrolling around there also for the quest WANTED: Calign Scorpidsting

Go back to the same place for the next quest, More Wastewander Justice. Except you may want to go a little more south

63.29 was the best spot for these guys. There's enough not to have to wait for respawns. :)

I can't begin to tell you how easy this is... If this quest is Orange For You (You're lvl 40 if this is so) Ignore that. Imagine its Yellow. lvl 40-42 mobs, I could pull about 3 of them at the same time and Not die at lvl 40 (no, I am not a twink) As long as you watch out for the lvl 46 in the area Your Fine... and all the coords above are correct.

The Wastewander nomads out in the Tanaris desert have seized almost all the water wells! Without access to them, our water supply will dry up in no time. If you want to get in our good graces, then you'll help us bring justice to those nomads!

Head east of here and bring down ten Wastewander Bandits and Thieves, then report back to me on the double. Justice waits for no man... goblin... bah, just get on it!
