She's found in that house near where Princess is, at the pumpkin patch east of Goldshire. My suggestion is to find people who need the Collector for http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=147 as he is in the same house as well. I suggest getting that quest yourself as well, it's more experience points, after all.

She is quite hard to beat for a level 10, since she also drags 2 other mobs into the battle. After trying several different stradegies I finally found one that worked:
Put a Curse od Agony on Surena, so all 3 mobs come after you. Then put your imp on Surena to make her attack him. All you need to do is run around with the other two whilst Curse of Agony and your imp kill her. After some time you'll lose the 2 other guys's aggro, then just run over to the corpse and loot the choker.

Just did this at level 10. Didn't realize that there were two adds the first time and died. Second time, I simply cleared around the house, stood in front of the door in the pumpkin patch and set my imp on her. CoA, Corruption, Immo and feared one add. Let him run for about 5 secs then feared the other one, had enough time to loot the corpse before the second one was back.

Pretty easy.

Very, very easy quest to handle at L10. This is what I did, and it was cake:

Kill all the defias guys around the house, there shouldn't be more than four or five non-named gang members. Princess and her entourage won't aggro you, so don't worry about them.

The first guy, Erlan Drudgemoor, is standing in front of the door. Immolate, Corruption and Curse of Agony him, have your Imp attack him as well, Fear the second guy that comes out, wait a few seconds, and Fear Surena Caledon. Using "TAB" to target helps out a lot here. Wand down Erlan Drudgemoor, he should be at 30%~ when you're done fearing Surena.

DoT the second guy, same three you hit Erlan with, then help your imp by wanding, he should be dead just as Surena is casting her first, maybe second, spell on you. Pop your Healthstone at this point. Send the imp after Surena, hit her with all three DoT's and wand away. Complete cake. Good luck.

It appears that the 3 named mobs at the house in Brackwell Pampkin Patch always spawn together, and would not respawn until all three is dead.

So if you go to the house and can't find Surena Caledon, kill the rest first -- then Surena will respawn (along with others).

This most likely isn't a bug ... devs presumably made it this way so that even unexperienced players can clear the house solo by using "hit-and-run" tactics (this is a level 10 quest after all ... chain fearing **shouldn't** be the only solution to it).

So if you're pretty good and can clear all three at once, praise unto thee, otherwise, here's a much simpler version of clearing the place at level 10:

1. Clear the area around the house.
2. Start casting your non-instant DoT (Immolate or Corruption) on Surena or Erlan.
3. While casting your first DoT, command your Imp to attack the same mob (Ctrl+1 or mouse-click the action bar).
4. Apply the rest of DoTs and run.
5. When you come back, there'll be only two of them. Now it should be very easy ... fear & conquer!

What probably happens if you follow this, would be: Morgan putting a Gauge on you and turning to your Imp. So don't panic, concentrate on getting the DoTs on the first mob and run.

I believe that's the way devs probably had in mind when they designed the encounter -- you can probably follow it even if this Lock is your very first toon.

This is the actual NPC and her map location, for those who don't have coords.

My main piece of advise for Warlocks struggling with this quest is to simply pick up a Lesser Magic Wand. At this point, its DPS is roughly equivalent to your DPS while casting spells, except you don't pay any mana for it. Chain fear the two adds, while keeping your Imp on Surena, and wanding Surena to death.

The progress text sounds like they had a romantic (or sexual) relationship, and he's hurt that she left.

Lvl 11 Lock...took me a few tries to figure it out, but like others have said: Fear is your friend.

I killed all of the mobs that are somewhat near the house. Then I did Corruption on Serena, Fear on the other two, and then just hit Serena with Drain Soul until she was dead. I was rudely interrupted by the other two here and there and just put Fear on them again. When Serena was dead (still in the house) and the other two were still being cowards, I ran in, got the necklace, and ran the heck away as fast as possible. My imp stayed around and died, but he was easily summoned again.

Level 10 warlock... This is a very easy quest all you simply have to do is make sure you have a healthstone in your bag and maybe a healing potion. Set your pet to attack Surena Caledron put up all of your dots on her and maybe a shadowbolt and a drain soul kill her loot the necklace and run for your life. (using the healthstone and potion if needed)

ffs pls help i have killed surena in (lightning's blade) 40 times and Surena's Choker dont falls what i have to do? pls help

I just tried to do this quest line and I was able to pick up the first one to turn into Gakin, but was not able to pick up this quest to continue the quest line, not sure if they took this out in a recent patch or what's up, but I cannot pick it up, I can just talk to the guy and he says some random stuff, no quest available :\ ..

It did say however when I turned the first quest in that "I do not meet the requirements for that quest" .. not sure what additional requirements there would be other than level 10 and being a warlock but it's not available to me lol

I had a student named Surena Caledon. She stood where you stand now, eager to learn of warlock magic, and possessing no small bit of talent. More than that she was young and pleasing to the eye. Had I seen it then, the traitorous trollop!

The thieving wench ran off with a thug, Erlan Drudgemoor. While her loss is of little importance, I gifted her a bloodstone choker that I must have.

Her life means nothing to me now. You will find her at the Brackwell Pumpkin Patch. Retrieve what is mine.
