"Ah... <name>... pleased is the earth to have you here.

"Bound together in body and spirit, you will go forward knowing that the mountains are your strength; the plains, your patience; and the world itself your essence.

"Standing before the earth humbly is all that is required for you to pass this rite. But the others are not as passive. They may be chaotic and often violent, but such is the nature of the elements. Dual natures opposing one another, you must come to learn these things intricately."

i just was there....44, 76 for the rock and 41, 73 for the path start, not sure what the issue here is, but 53,80 is a big rock on the shores

This is the quest you get as an Orc Shaman.

The hidden path starts at 41.6, 73.3 (south of The Den) and will take you to 44.0, 76.1 where you will find the Spirit Rock.

you can also get to ratchet from the secret path (just giving u some advice if you need to get to ratchet fast)

For Tauren Shamans go in 53,80, you will find a rock, there is no hidden path

Really easy way for Tauren Shaman from another site (user watlymazi)...

For those having as much trouble finding this as I did, I decided to write a clear guide to help everyone in the future to save them the frustration.

The pillar is VERY close to the well with the old shaman lady (her name is "Greatmother Hawkwind").

One oddity about this pillar is that you usually can't see it in the distance until you are right next to it.

If you can't find the pillar, here's a description of it's location:

Notice how the landscape here has many small hills and mounds; the pillar is upon one of these. A hint to find out which mound it lies upon is this simple fact: the mound with the pillar has a small circle of dirt on top. You can simply spot it from either the well or even from Narache. Take about 10 steps north of the well, then head east about 50 steps.

Just so anyone who reads this doesn't feel stupid after they realize how easy it was... I think it's a mistake on blizzards part for making the pillar stay invisible until you are right next to it, they needed a better description in the quest. Some people just got lucky by hitting it, but others ran way past it and got completely confused.

Tip: if you have quest helper DO NOT go to the question mark it will take you away from where you need to go you'll be looking FOREVER. the path is in the starting place for trolls. it is up one of the mountans by "The Den" just look for a odd shape in the mountans that kind of like a strip looking thing the just run up that and it'll lead you right to him then at the stone drink the stuff they gave you and walla there he is. =) cords are 41, 73

For the Tauren version:

Kodo Rock can be difficult to find. The rock is a huge pillar of rock, but due to the way World of Warcraft draws objects, it won't fade into view until you are close to it. You should be able to head east from the well near Camp Narache and go straight to Kodo Rock. If you have a way to display coordinates, Kodo Rock is at 53,80.

When I got there... there was no one to talk to about drinking any thing... WTF? I have quest helper.... Says I am right on it.. But nothing to continue the quest... Meh!

ok if you don't have cords please follow the insutructions, first: when you get the quest,check on map and then theere is a place south a little south of the den.Second: search a path in the mountains(it should be left)Third: continue into the path until you see a water place, once you got that turn left into the mountains.Four:continue the path the you see the shrine drink the thing and then speak to the element.
P.S: it's a road to ratchet too

Orcs and trolls, If you're using the built-in quest tracking system (and you don't have coordinates), DO NOT go to the "?" they have placed directly south of The Den. Instead, go slightly south-west of that spot, and you will see a flat, indented area full of boars. There will be a peon by a cactus to your left, and a peon under a tree to your right. The path is laid out by a dark line ahead of you.

On the map the spot will be along the lower mountain ridge surrounding The Den, not too far below where the little hut symbol.

Descrição

A sapta is a drink created to bind our spirits to the elements. Fused with magic, the potion will allow the strong willed to see the elements as no one else can. Your spirit will be connected to the element the sapta was created for, and only a select few shaman know the recipe.

The sapta is always drunk in a holy place, and never anywhere else--remember that.

Seek out Spirit Rock southwest of here--it is found at the end of the Hidden Path. Drink your sapta there, and... well, you shall see.
