The succubus is one of the most useful warlock pets in pvp, seduce is amazing croud control and the damage they do isnt too shabby either. the only problem is the succubus has relatively low health so if they are targeted or get aggro they go down fast so watch out.

The succubus is also the favored pet when warlocks drain tank (which is arguably the most effective way for them to level), since she does decent physical damage and has a mana pool that they can tap through Dark Pact. Also, they can stop gankers using Seduction.

i've had an undead warlock, but i gave up on it when i first tried this quest at 20 over in the eastern kingdoms. when BC came out i decided to try out a BE lock. i heard it was much easier on the orc side to get your succubus, so i traveled over to org to try it out. its waaaay easier. you run all over the place but its not too bad. just watch out, sometimes an elite quillboar will be guarding dogran.

A succubus is being summoned, kill it to complete quest. Succubus is rather weak and easy. A voidwalker can easily tank it.

I dont get the quest offered when iam a Belf lvl 40 lock :S

Not given in Ogri, UC and silvermoon :S

Anybody know how to solve this?

It was really easy quest! i did it without dying even in Arathi Highlands!

Can a humble newb get some commentary as to what some veteran players think is the easiest/quickest/smartest quest to choose from to get the Succubus? All comments welcome....help!

Im a lock lv 44 and had my succubus quite a while now. But now i could get the q again and its yellow for me. Really strange....

A lvl 70 warlock here. Found teh Q by accident and it's still yellow. Bah!

To the other 70s that found this one by accident, dont forget to go to Durotar to get the Imp quest. Easy 7g lol

Ok i just happened to see i could take this quest after i already did it...
i picked it up at lvl 46 in uc it was a yellow quest to me,
i laughed when i noticed i was able to finish it...
recived 5800xp

current patch is 2.3.2 as of writing this...

Lovely timing on Seeker Thompson. "?" level NPC just wandered into the area, ran up and one-shot the succubus before I could have a go at it - and of course the kill didn't register for a quest update. This is me just standing here waiting for the 3 minute cooldown on Pure Hearts to go away :P

Like the previous step in the chain, this quest scales with your level. Completing it at level 80, the additional xp converted to a 13g23s total reward for me. It should be noted, however, that this does not count as a quest completion for Eastern Kingdoms or Kalimdor - as it's a warlock quest - and will not help you achieve the Loremaster title.

if I didn't make the quest at lvl 20, I can't do it at 21 or 22? :(( I think I abandoned it or smth, I don't know... and now I am tryin' to get the quest but I can't... Can you tell me what quests I have to do before? :|

hey, i am new to the forum and i have a question... when i go to undercity in the summoning ring and use pure hearts it says to me Invalid target and i dont know what to do...please tell me as soon as possible... thank you!^^

My lvl 27 undead lock seems to be unable to start either of the two horde succy quest chains. Any idea what's up?

Edit: Checked again ten levels later, and nothing. I even have the felhunter already.

I have a problem...when I summoned the Succubus, I can't kill him because the guards of Undercity is faster than me. Do you know what to do?

Using the Pure Hearts, summon and subdue a succubus, then return the Pure Hearts to Carendin Halgar in the Magic Quarter of the Undercity.

Descrição

Using these hearts, cast a spell at the summoning circle to open a doorway for the succubus to come through. Your powers are greater now, and you will need all of them to defeat the succubus.

Beware its charms, <name>, many a strong mind has been bound to its will. When overcome, the succubus will be returned to the void, and I will teach you the spell to summon it forth at your command.
