This quest can be deceptively difficult. You only have to harvest crystals from the big crystal formations found throughout the Draeni village called The Fallow Sanctuary. It's the area in the north-northeast of the zone. I found that the Draeni character models blend VERY well with the surrounding swamp, so what looks like an easy one-on-one kill can become two-on-one or even three-on-one. It doesn't help that the mobs are level 37-38.

If you have the patience and want to play it extremely safe, you will usually find one or two crystal formations with only one nearby mob. Just loot those and wait on a respawn.

Due to the fact that the Draeni blend in, and they tend to run when their health is low, you can end up with some very nasty fights, so it's not a bad idea to bring one or two friends for backup.

You can accomplish much more than this quest in this area, though. If you are allied with the Gelkis centaur in Desolace, one of their later quests sends you to retrieve a gem from Ongeku, who is found in the northwestern part of the village. Near him you can find a caged human that starts an escort quest. Finally there is a rare spawn chieftan that tends to spawn near Ongeku.

Solo as 34 Rogue.... Its do-able but but I suggest enabling display names.

What ever you do, DONT attack the Draenei at the camp where you collect and finish this quest........ I did, almost killed him, but NO! healed to full hp and as a rogue... now with 4 NCP on my ass... Not good!

But come on, im Horde, there Alliance! It HAD to be done!

This was one of the easiest quests I' ve done here so far..42-84. the first crystal is at the opening of the cave and then just walk in and get the rest, very simple I thought.

This is what I did, this is for the mages etc that can't seem to kill them or get close enough to loot.

From east of the village (69 21) I ran into the 2 crystals, 1 mob attacked me so i feared it, others can do whatever cc they have, looted both crystals and ran back.

Only way I could do it :s

When BC first came out I saw that PvP tagged Draenei were now in the Harbourage and they were red to Horde. I assumed that the Horde quests were no longer available or at least difficult to get to/complete, but the Alliance friendly NPCs do not attack Horde on sight. You can however, attack the Draenei to flag yourself and be attacked. :)

The lost ones who live in the Fallow Sanctuary look as we look, but they are monsters... driven mad by the rigors of our journey to Azeroth. Once our brethren, they now live in the Fallow Sanctuary to the east, catching or killing any who wander near.

And they have stolen something sacred to us--draenethyst crystals.

We lack the force to enter the Fallow Sanctuary and reclaim our stolen draenethyst from among their huts and campfires, but without those crystals... we too may lose our way.
