For those who do not know, in order to get this quest chain the "Hoofprints" and "Badge" quests from the shady-rest in, as well as "the Deserters" quest must be completed first.

Watching the scene with the ghosts of his wife and kid actually made me choke up. A++ quest!

Yes, I agree, it's a very touching Quest. It's things like this that restore my faith in Blizzard, when they go and screw up Tier model sets (*Season 4, cough*). Normally I don't read quest descriptions, slows me down, but after doing this on my Hunter I decided to actually read them for this Quest on my Druid, and I strongly advise it.

This is so very sad :-(.
I somehow made it through the whole chain and the graveyard scene, but it was captain's "You didn't tell them about James, did you?" that devastated me, as it puts all your previous endeavours into completely different light.
Awesome quest line.

This quest is marked as obsolete now, here is the current version (as of 4.0.6): Peace at Last.
(for those who came here looking for "Hyal", like I did)

well, i just completed it, and of course i obtaind it too. So it doesn't seem very obsolete to me.

I wish we had a way of letting James Hyal's wife and son know that we have brought their murderers to justice.

<Captain Vimes produces a small wreath decorated with flowers.>

There are some who say that their spirits will know, even if we cannot reach them. It's not much, but I'd like you to lay this wreath at the Hyal family monument. It's one of the larger stones in the graveyard just north of Theramore's gates.
