88, 75 in Shimmering Flats. The Rocket Car Parts can be found around the race track.

Parts are all around the Race Track... Do this with the other Flats quests. Even if there are others doing this quest its still easy to complete as the re-spawn rate is pretty quick.. Good Luck !!

This has to be the easiest 2550 experience I've ever gotten. The whole area of Shimmering flats is littered with the parts. There is no way you could not complete this quest if you take up the other quests in the area. You can collect most of the parts without even having to worry about aggroing local wild life, as most critters are fairly well spaced out.

Did this at level 42 for some reason, only gives 250 xp, lol.

I found most of my parts when I went along the east side of Shimmering Flats, according to me going east is the best way.
Not much more to say, the parts are all relatively easy to find.

This quest is good to do along with "Salt Flat Venom" http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=1104

The enemies involved in that quest drop the parts on occasion.

At 74, 58 is a crashed gnome vehicle (if you see black smoke billowing from under the ground you've found it). I found a ton there! In fact, they respawn so fast that you really only have to run around the wreck to collect them :)!

EDIT: for people without co-ord, it's north-west of the racing camp, at the border between the shimmering flats and the needle part of 1kneedles.

You should take this quest first, and do it along with the other ones in the area. The parts are scattered all over the Shimmering Flats.

Heh heh, with all the races they're running here, it's no surprise that a few mishaps happen along the way. If you look around the Shimmering Flats then you'll see evidence of past crashes -- scraps of rocket car parts are littered everywhere!

And those parts are worth money to the gnomes and goblins. They're always looking for more contraptions to slap onto their cars.

So go out and get me parts. Bring me a heap and I'll pay you well.
