There are a lot of cloaked mobs around so if you're solo'in it make sure not to attack something until you're sure there isn't any cloaked people around. Other than that it's a pretty easy quest.

This is a pretty easy area to find....due south of Camp Taurajo....the wand and backstabber were easy enough for me to get, but the shield took a long time to get.....I must have killed 20-30 of the warfrenzies before I got it.....but that was just for me, it could take a considerable shorter time for others....just be prepared to grind a bit.

Take the hammer. The off-hand has a 30 min cooldown and vends for much less. Get a Crescent Staff if you're a caster.

The shield dropped on about the 2nd drop, but the backstabber and wand took me about 10 kills each to get. Hope this helps.

My friend about killed me on this quest when we grouped for it. The items are Bind on Pickup and NOT unique so it IS possible to loot more than 1 of each item, thus screwing over your party member(s) should they need the item you just picked up!

Sometimes, if you're a low level, the Razormane Stalkers can take a lot of damage to you if you dont notice them. To help you out, create a macro. If you're not sure how to do this, just type /macro, and then click new. Choose an icon, and then enter a macro name in the top. I recommend "Target Stalker". Then, click okay. Under "Enter Macro Commands:", enter the following text:

/target razormane stalker

Then, drag the icon from the top right of your screen to one of your action bars.

Make sure you click the icon when you're at 42,78 ish!

To delete the macro, click and drag your macro icon from your action bar to the middle of the screen. Then, type /macro. After you have done that, drag the "macroname" icon to the Delete button.

Now you have learned how to create a macro!

I had really bad luck with the drop rate in this quest. Got backstabber on 1st kill, but it took 17 seer kills for the wand and 23 warfrenzies for the shield!

took me 17 bars of grinding, lvl 23-24 to get the shield killing only warfrenzies.dinged on the one that dropped it. gg

Don't sell these items, they're quest items. but you can certainly sell them.. i did it by accident and had to do the quest twice!

The name of this quest is possibly a reference to Fatboy Slim's song "Weapon of Choice". The music video of it was pretty famous, involving Christopher Walken dancing.

I'm doing this quest with my 19 lock, but I'm having a hard time due to the stalkers' stealth. Before you attack any of the others, make sure they aren't around - if you're a hunter, never do mind, it's a walk in the park.

First drop for dagger, about 12 for wand, close to 20 for shield.

Your results may (and will vary) for this quest. Don't give up. Things could be worse: You could need more than one of each. =P

Can't speak much about Stalkers and Pathfinders, since I barely had to fight them. Go for Pathfinders, since they're weaker and seam to have the same drop rate.

Warfrenzies are the toughest in my opinion. They hit FAST. Casters may have trouble with them, unless you can shut them down.

All the mobs like to run, so if you're by other mobs, try to stop them when they're low on health. The place is generally a big open field, with exception to some people who like to stealth. I find they tend to clump around one area, though. So find where they aren't populated to farm for the items.

I have been killing these guys for about 5 days now on my druid, got the backstabber off a pathfinder first drop, got the shield off a warfrenzy first drop, I've been killing the seers through three levels' worth of EXP and never found the wand...

EDIT:There goes another levels worth of EXP, I still have no wand.

I have just been doing this quest as well for over 2 hours strait, easily, in that time I've gotten over a dozen daggers, one shield and still no wand as well. Grinded, ground?, through an entire level and went through 1.2k arrows, killed I'd guess over 50 seers at least, this may now be bugged, as the wand is supposed to be a 15% drop, according to wowhead.

I did this and got 4 wands, 6 backstabbers, in 15 mins., still no shield...
did it on my hunter (lvl 19) no prob..

okay seriously F this quest. i got the first two shield and wand no prob. but then came the damn dagger. killed easily a hundred and no drop. bull!@#$.

Edit: hilarious as soon as i posted this, the dagger dropped, kinda figured that would happen.

Having the same "problem" as some of the other people: Got the backstabber(s) (I have like six of these now) and the wand(s) (think I have four or five of these) pretty quickly but I've now been grinding for the darn shield for a few hours and... nothing. This should be a piece of cake quest for me too... lvl 23 hunter so killing these mobs is EASY for me. Blargh!

When you hand in the quest, if you don't need any of them items other than for vendoring, be sure to take the hammer, since it sells for 40s while the off hand sells for 16s.

I did this quest on two occasions. First at 21 rouge, second at 23. I managed to get the shield on the first try, wand was a bit harder.

Even when I finished this quest I stayed to kill more of them because they have a somewhat decent drop rate for wool.

Did this quest a long ago with my other characters and it was pain in the ass. The worst part for me back then was damn backstabber. Now upon completing this quest i got 1 shield, 1 wand and about 15 of those backstabbers. Is it bugged or am i super lucky?

The first time I did this quest (a year ago), I remember this being much harder.

This time, I got four backstabbers, two wands, and one shield. In no time at all.

I too am going to tell you that it took me ages to get the shield. It seems that if you get one or two easily the last will not be easy. It took me 70+ of the warfrenzy's to get my last piece of the quest. So if like me you come to wowhead to see if you are doing something wrong, you aren't it's just a very low drop quest

This Quest is most probably a refrence to the Fatboy Slim Song "Weappon of Choice", its video is featuring Christopher Walken dancing around in a Hotel... Worth Watching ;)

Lok is the hardest to find. He is camped out up on the mountain. If you are coming from Camp T, past the Field of Giants there is a small encampment up the mountain that you can see from the road. Brine is the NPC. Go to her base and ease past the tent/fence area. Head toward the mountains where the briars are located. There were only 2 mobs and Lok when I attempted this part of the quest.

It's completely random. I killed about 50 Stalkers but still no Backstabber, same for the Warfrenzy and the Shield. In that time, I had about 10 wands drop.

An interesting note for me, I did not get any of these items after a solid twenty minutes of grinding for them. I eventually got frustrated and decided to do the quest "Betrayal from Within" instead. After getting all three skulls, the items dropped for me on my first kills. Hope this helps.

Ok. What is your guys's problems? You gain experience from killing mobs. It's shouldn't matter what the drop rate is. It's people like you that have Blizzard increase drop rates, and decrease the amount of kills needed to complete quests. That makes the game too easy. Quit your complaining. Remember it's a game and without a challenge games are boring.

I was grinding it for like 15minutes without any luck then I log off for like 4h. When i log back i got all 3 items from first kills.

I wouldn't be exaggerating if I said you could be unlucky enough to gain 2 full levels doing this quest. The reason I can say that, is because that's what I just went through. Just this one quest, only killing the ones that needed to be done (ie: once got the backstabber, didn't kill any pathfinders unless necessary to get to the next seer). Granted, I had a full rest bar when I started, but yes, 2 full levels before I got the three items needed.

What a crummy quest. It was bad years ago and it's still bad. Unless of course, you like just killing for XP, then it's a great quest.

The Razormane quilboars to the south, beyond the Field of Giants, have no skilled blacksmiths from what I am told, but they've apparently started to develop sturdier weapons. I'd like to get my hands on a few different types to learn their techniques if possible.

If you wish to help bring honor to the Horde, then bring me examples of their weapons. Find me a dagger from their stalkers, a wand from their seers, and a shield from their warfrenzy. That should do nicely!
