WOOT! This just dropped for me from Azuregos. It took at least a dozen times killing him to get this to drop. Only 8 more formulas to have them all! Good luck

But on the other hand, those of us with RNG completely against us and the ability to find a live world dragon, I offer the below alternative.

With the Carrion Vulture in Western Plagueland having a 0.6% chance to drop this as well, I have been camping these on and off for a few days in hopes of getting this particular one. This drops off any of the world dragons, Lethon, Ysondre, Taerar, Emeriss, Azuregos, or Nefarian from Blackwing Lair with a much higher drop rate, but I have seen these vultures almost daily, and never seen one of the above world dragons, alive, and never got lucky in Blackwing Lair the one time I seen it drop.

I'll take birds that spawn every 10-15 minutes any day, over a dragon almost as lost as some proto-drakes, or having to roll against however many other people you are in a raid with, even at 0.6%. I know I won't get them all before Cataclysm, but here's trying with a very late start anyway.

Back to killing these vultures.

I scan the auction house really regularly, and auctioneer collects statistics on how often it sees items. This is among the most rare items I have seen. Over the last four years (since I last reset my data), I've seen this formula only 11 times, including the one I just bought. Of course I don't see the ones that are kept rather than sold, or the ones that are posted and snatched up before I have a chance to see them, but that's true for most items. With the removal of most world bosses, including the Dragons of Nightmare, the source is basically the last boss of Blackwing Lair and extremely rare world drops, so if you're looking on the auction house, it's crazy rare.

the world dragons no longer exist in wow as npcs...so good farming this as best you can

I just found one of these in our AH for 1g. It's the only one I have a record of seeing in the past 2 years.

So, I relisted it for 50,000g.

I'll try selling it for a while, but probably I'll wind up learning it myself. Now, if only Battlemaster or Spellsurge would show up.

Got this yesterday off the AH for 15 gold. I had -no- idea how rare it was.

Now I don't know if I should learn it, or try to re-sell it. The completionist in me wants to keep it. Tough choice. D:

First time I've seen it on AH today.

Bought it for 5g, the person that sold it had no idea of the value of the recipe.

Just keep browsing the AH and you will eventually find a cheap one instead of paying 10k for it.

I have been playing the game for a long time. and I have never heard of this one untill today.
When it dropped for me out of a mithril lock box.
anyone who wants to get it I'd recommend buying out your servers mithril lock boxes.

This enchant appears to have been removed from the game as of 5.0.4! I had it in my inventory and was attempting to sell it and now it's gone! Checked my paladin who already had this rare enchant and found that all resistances have been removed from the game! It makes sense...it was getting pointless...but I'm still a little irked all my hard work in obtaining those resistance patterns means nothing now!
