woot a chick in wow, where?*scouts surrounding for one*/Sarcasm offOfc there is girls, woman and the oppisite sex from men in wow. People who are surprised by this is a bit out of touch. around 30-40% of the raider and officer in my guild is women and most skilled so it alot of stereotypes what they suck at playing. off to ulduar now:)
In the final analysis, does gender really matter? Personally all I care about it is if the people I group with are compentent. Are they knowledgeable about their class? Can they anticipate what is required next? Do they perform well? Are they team players, committed to group success? Are they pleasant people to play with? Do they believe in fair play, or are they greedy bastards?Have they got a brain in their head, or are they a complete tool?Seems to me, with all the things you want in a group/guild/raid member, gender is the last thing to worry about.
I am a twelve year old girl. I found out about wow while googling something about 'Yeti's. I begged my dad to let me play when I figured out it was a online game. He relented. Now I'm a blood elf going crazy trying to get to level 80 then make a Death Knight.
Being of the female persuasion myself, I have to say I really haven't encountered anything different on WoW playing a female character then those of the other gender. *shrugs*I guess most men and boys have finally wised up to the fact that 99 percent of our servers 'girls' are in fact guys. So I have never had gold, gear or runs handed to me, infact, everyone thought I was a dude until I hit lvl 70 in my guild, and on a Kara run my true 'identity' was revealed via vent. lol Also, I belong to a mature guild (mature as in most players are age 30+, not as in mature "we make stupid frat boy jokes all day" mature) who contain many a married couples of men and women who play wow, so I have never encountered any gender favoritism. Which I think is a good thing.
on my server we have 2 sister guilds one on horde, one on allaince of just women, you have to pass a vent test and everything, now im a woman and can can honestly say, that many of us in one place is never a good idea..
