Game just feel.....unrewarding. Doing a lot.... for no reason.
I like that getting a drop feels like a really big deal now. I don't want to vendoring/scrapping (well scrapping is gone, and good riddance) bags full of purples 3 weeks into an expansion.
What the hell blizzard? I got only 1 item from 7 bosses before hotfix and this was a bad item. Is it "too much loot"?
Eh, 5/boss means 2.5/player/raid. This goes down to less than 2/player/raid.Dunno, that does seem a bit low if the goal is to give players a chance to get the same amount of loot on average across all types of content. To get comparable amounts of loot on average from M+ you "just" have to complete 5 +7 dungeons in time (for GS200, normal raid), which takes about 3 hours. The raid will, usually, take a bit longer, but there are problems on top of that, mainly that the raid is more complicated, which should warrant increased compensation, and that raiding is a weekly lockout while you could farm M+ as much as you want to.In general, I think I am fine with the amount of loot that drops in SL, however some form of bad luck protection would probably help alleviate the M+ problem some people experience. So far it does not seem like any such system is in place.Alternatively tuning the amount of drops up just a bit could also help, especially since most classes still won't be happy with nearly every piece of loot they drop, whether they wanted to avoid a BfA situation or not. I personally am currently playing a DH on Mastery because that's all I get on the few pieces I drop, which does not really feel great tbh.
Shame. Keep raid loot as is (5 items for 20 players). Also make M+ drop 3 items for timed keys like it used to be in all previous expansions.
Gotta keep the grind and time gating going as long as possible with rigged rng
Seriously? Did something like 12 mythic + and the whole raid, got 2x ilvl 194 rings. And now you're gonna tell me we received too much loot?
What the hell blizzard!First quest chest have nothing. Now this. As a person who have played since Vanilla this is a crap move to your player base.
Thanks for punishing the rest of the players for not raiding day one. And 3 is way too low for a plus +20 people raid.
The backbone of any RPG is the development of your character and that includes loot. Why reduce this? Why is it so scarce in mythic+ now as well? Who cares if one area is getting a tad more loot than the other, everything does not need to be perfectly balanced. I feel like every expansion this franchise moves farther and farther away from being an MMORPG.
7 m+ and 7/10 in raid past 2 days, got 0 items, only anima... and they want us to get less? What is less than 0 items? We need to give our items back from m0 grinds the week b4? Did 30m btw. 11-12 out of 30 players got something, half of us are stuck on 170-175, others have 190+. Give back masterloot now....... give us back BfA as this sh1t is way worse.Hey guys, let's grind a game 8 hrs a day to get absolutely NUTTIN'!
Uh oh the players are actually earning loot they worked for better put a stop to that right away!
this is dumb
they should keep it, this should not be classic, it works, just reduce m+ loot and other places, raid should always be the best
So Blizzard has dropped it to where instead of, in a 20 man, 1/4th of the group was getting loot to less than 1/5th of the group is going to get loot. Great job, Blizz. Tighten those time played metrics just a little bit more.
Loot feels so nasty.. they wanted to make it less grinder but it's definitely grinder. So many people in my guild do 10+ keys and get absolutely nothing, you aren't rewarded for your time or effort at all. 35 anima for end of loot chest / boss kill in raid is an insult.
"This bug, if left unaddressed, would prioritize Normal and Heroic raiding over similar-difficulty dungeons and PvP progression."Oh so how the game should be...Raiding of any difficulty SHOULD BE the way to get gear over 5 man dungeons. Not to mention doing probably 30 Mythic + dungeons already and getting 4 pieces of loot total is trash.Players should be awarded for playing the game, not waste their time.
