if you need to change covnant later in the exp do you keep you covnant transmog or do you need to earn it anew?
Probably the most important article for the majority of players out there! Thanks for putting it in once place.Edit my thoughts: I wanted to go against expectations and wanted my druid to go Venthyr (always loved vampire themes), but the leather set just doesn't look good, and gives me serious Bloodfang vibes - good for rogues but basically no one else.
i think blizz made a big error with the weps, theres warglaives for each of the 4 covenants... in order to colelct all appearances, u need 4 DHs which is very excessive since DH can only be 2 races... and only have 2 spec, the only way to make it have some sense is 1 spec per dh per faction but still, until void elves and nightborn can be DH it feel like a waste of toon slots to have 2 of the exact same race/class combolets pray that buying 1 weapon unlocks the xmog of that weapon type all covenants and not have to buy each appearence separately like how the pvp weps give u horde if ur alliance also and vice versa
my main issue is not giving us the option to have a sheathed or unsheathed weapons in back versions while wearing the wings of kyrian or the bone ones from necrolord. even if it clips it be nice to go into battle with ashbringer/kyrians wings behind the back instead of pulling out a sword out of thin air.
You can swap covenants though, assuming you keep the transmogs you only need one dh to collect all of them.
Yo WoWhead, here's an important covenant mog subject that might screw ppl over.Necrolords dont seem to be having any sword mogs in their appearances and instead it is just stupid axes, many people might end up finding that AFTER they join the covenant and realize there's no quality sword mogs in that covenant. (Bar the one from leveling which doesnt matter since they arent on the same design level as nathria token weapons from other covenants)
Anyone know if will be able to use the mogs on another toon without it being in that covenant? I understand some of the mounts have being a member required to use but i really hope its not like that for the mogs. Unless i am mistaken I will have to have one of each armor type in each covenant to get them all?
Doesn't leather night fae have a robe version too? It'd be nice to see which have both robe and pants versions, because it's not intuitive. Cloth Necrolord totally looks like it'd have a lich robe, but it doesn't.
I guess I have a couple questions about how the transmog and covenant rewards works. If someone has answers or knows somewhere this is already explained please let me know. Is the transmog and mounts being limited to the covenant you are in eventually going to change? And are you only allowed to use the transmog from the covenant you are in or say I level 2 hunters in different covenants, can 1 of those hunters use both gear set appearances once they are unlocked or still only the set from that hunters chosen covenant. How will mount use being limited to your covenant effect the mount collecting achievement? Will they still count because you have unlocked them or not be counted because they are only useable on certain characters?
You can only mog the covenant armor while being in that covenant.Same with the mount, you can only ride it while belonging to that faction. If you swap, those things are still 'collected' but you can't use them unless you change back. Two years from now, they'll probably ease up the restrictions, but for now, you can only represent one covenant at a time. You can't use Night fae Mog while being Kyrian. :)
I imagine they'll eventually loosen the restrictions similar how they did for artifacts, though it likely won't happen until the expansion after SL.
ok I popped onto beta for a quick testin terms of mount collecting, each covenant mount will add to the counteach mount is covenant tagged so only those aligned with the covenant can use it
!@#$y guide. No links on actual items/sets. I cant watch all these t-mogs in dressing room
Question: If I choose one covenant for transmog purposes and then go to another covenant, can I still mog the previous covenant's?
It might be good to mention that the back transmogs are not Covenant exclusive. You will at least get one recolor from the different reputation vendors from the different zones.
