Appearance Change Service in Blizzard Shop is Retiring in Shadowlands

With the release of the pre-expansion patch, players will be able to seek out a Barber Shop for a variety of character customization options, including the ability to change your character’s gender, hair, facial features, and more. Due to this upcoming new in-game option, the Appearance Change service for Shadowlands will be retired from the Blizzard Shop prior to the release of the pre-patch.

Jokes aside though, this is a good change. The real money price for a gender swap was legitimately stupid for a minor cosmetic change. Makes you wonder though; just how powerful are barbers in WoW? They're like the most terrifying mages. They can alter your skin color, they can instantly grow your hair and change its coloration, they can alter your eyes in Shadowlands, and now they can snip and sew body parts whenever they want.
