I actually think the dungeon thing is kinda cool. It gives players a bit of context about the environment of the expansion they're playing in rather than just teleporting them to a dungeon in Northrend if they're newer and haven't even set foot in that expansion yet.
I think there needs to be another complete random queue where you get randomly into any dungeons, regardless of what timeline you picked. Some dungeons offer really good rewards (exp wise) when leveling, and some are just really bad.
Do the quest rewards from old content also scale up? (e.g.: trinkets and such)
I wish there was a way to solo queue and have any random dungeon 10-50. I think I'd rather bounce all over than be tied to one. I wonder if the x-pac exclusive queue would increase the time you have to wait.
Wouldn't it be a significant boost to queue-timers if we could queue for Random Dungeons, period. Get those DPS, the Tank & the Healer quickly, and blast through first come first serve dungeons. Instead of having to queue into for example TBC random dungeons, only to see "Avarage queue time 43 minutes" when it could have been 2 minutes had you chosen WotLK.Hope this is something they are considering changing :)
Wait you have to activate? I thought everything just scaled to 50 regardless. So what does everything scale to if you're already 50? This seems like an overcomplicated way of implementing it.
I’d like some information of how the EK, Kalimdor, and Cata zones work if you choose Cataclysm for your expansion. In the WoWHead database, it lists the Cata zones as minimum level 30. Does that mean you need to level EK/Kal zones to 30 and the Cata zones can all be done from 30-50? Some clarification would help.
The LFG is gonna have long ques unless you pick a more popular expansion. This most likely won't lead to more freedom of choice but less. They need to open the LFG to all dungeons. The streamers I have been watching have already commented on this and Blizzard has ignored the issue. It will hopefully be hotfixed within a few patches if it truly leads to a queue issue.
This article leave a lot of questions unanswered.• what are the requirements to use Chromie? a lot of players cannot use this feature for unknown reasons• what happens when you hit level 50? there is a spell that auto-kicks you from Chromie time and teleports you back to your capital that triggers at reaching level 50... so, what if you don't want to leave, or are in the middle of a quest chain?
What about lvling in WoD? Is it still broken with all the exp u get from treasures and bonus events?Cuz right now u can just blast 90-100 in 1 hour wit WoD.
My question immediately would be; if I wouldn’t see other players who are in a different timeline as like warmode?
We're gonna have to use Chromie time to experience the pre-patch because it feels like they're never actually going to release it...
