Well, Uther did his buisness in real world, so she could do that aswell. She died way before Illidan did his buisness from THAT OTHER cinematic
blizzard cutting corners, what else is new
I think its the same place, and they where their looking for information on how the Burning Legion acquired the Helmet of Domination and probably why the main guy from Maldraxxus is missing.
Well we first met the scourge as tool of the Legion that later broke free and was lead by the Lich King. The scourge look incredibly familiar to maldraxus forces. Somehow the Legion took the power from the Shadowlands and gave it to Nerzhul. Apparently the conflict that Draka is involved with is this feud between the Legion stealing the Frostmourne or generally trying to steal power from Maldraxus for their own.
It's incredibly common for animation assets to be re-used. I think this may be an example of that.
welp, 2 options1. Those who think it was a lazy and changes some details to fit2. Blizz didn't put this escene without an intention, if that's the case, it opens a big question and a whole confusion -> shadowlands and connection to other realms to see during the expansion?
Dunno why people always presume the worst possible reason, without giving it any more thought. Seriously. I think at this point a lot of people seem to feel no matter what Blizzard does, it by default has to be wrong.I would argue that it would make total sense for the House of Eyes to specifically have the ability to leave the Shadowlands. How else would they gain intel on Mortal(?), Light, Void, and Demonic (Legion) troop movements that might bring harm to the Shadowlands? A spy who cannot leave their home country is sort of a useless spy.
Looking at side by side comparisons shows they did some touch-up work for this video. It clearly wasn't just copy-pasted and without any attention to detail. It was a deliberate choice to show that Draka went to the same place as the Demon Hunters did.Someone who knows the lore a better than me... Wasn't that place Nathreza? As in the home of the Dreadlords and one of the transportation hubs of the Legion? A map from there would be pretty freaking important.Blizz clearly wanted us to think Draka went to the same place that the Demon Hunters destroyed in their video. They made a big deal about a mortal having Maw-Weapons in the Bastion vid. It confirms characters have been coming and going from the Shadowlands.
Most likely reused assets, but then again demonic races were once uncorrupted, just like the Eredar when they used to be "Draenei". Felguards/lords in particular are part of the Mo'arg race.
Dunno why anyone's surprised or upset. They've said all along that Maldraxxus defends the Shadowlands, right? So the question then is... from what? No point in having an army if there's nothing to fight. As for Draka being a 'warrior', why why why, that's thinking too rigidly. Lore and gameplay don't match up perfectly. Never have. She calls herself a warrior here precisely because of her fighting spirit and tenacity, orcs are a 'warrior people', and it's those qualities that meant she went to Maldraxxus.
Who the &*!@ cares? Like, really who?
Bastion should have been released last... this can't even compare. I am sure A LOT of work went into this and it's great but when you line it up against the story of Bastion this really just felt... meh.
We know that characters can leave the Shadowlands in different ways (think about Kel'Thuzad for example) so my guess is this is what is going on here. Draka is sent to spy on the legion after finding out they stole Helm of Domination and Frostmourne from the shadowlands OR where given them intentional. If this is the Draka from the past Draenor (outlands) then this would make perfect sense in the timeline. Also perhaps the legion found out about the shadowlands from Ner'zhul who had a strong connection to death and tore open portals on Draenor to escape. Perhaps one of those portals led to the shadowlands?
Well, it seems like the guards got fired. They got a family to feed, y'know?
