shadowlands becoming more and more @#$% every update seems like it will be a fun expansion
Fire mage doesn't want mastery. Only because of corruption does fire mage want mastery. Before all the essences/corruption came into play, haste was best by far. You're falsely assuming this nerf is targeting the current state of the game, rather than the future state of the game.
Does this mean, in layman terms, that the most efficient way to gear is to get 25% of all stats across the board? Won't you benefit more from a balanced set with less stats needed than to go ham on a single stat? Seems like a weird way to bring caps back again? And won't this also effectively slow down the entire game? Yikes...
Funny to see most of the people claiming x spec stacks x are entirely inaccurate. Guess they got their "research" from guides and shouting here blindly. For example: most of these "stacks" came into reality because of corruption + essence. Fire mages never wanted to stack mastery but corruption gave this possibility for huge aoe burst. BM hunter don't even want to cap crit, they goes around 50% (that too from proc counts) and then go for haste. Arms stacked mastery for more bleed but scenario was entirely changed with corruption. They started stacking haste witch made them bullet freight train. Fury went full crit only because corruption made it possible. Or else they preferred more rampages than Gushing bleed.Corruption was a bad design, but worse thing about it was corruption vendor. It threw away balancing miles away. Now things are going back into normal. And this DR change is going to affect ONLY, read again ONLY stats from gears. It doesn't affect procs (bloodlust) or anything else. People are that bored? use your head, give criticism. Don't just burst out without knowing facts. You don't have to advocate other specs which you never touched. You guys are spreading misinformation.
Ugh. Why can't they just freaking go back to the sort of stat budgets we had in expansions like Cats and MoP? We got more primary stats than secondaries from gear back then, and for almost all specs (fire and fury being heavily dependent on crit made them a bit different), you could determine the strength of gear by ilevel. Diminishing returns means we have to sim. We lost reforging "so you can put on gear right away" and they've been moving farther from that model and making it harder to determine upgrades ever since.
