So.. more thoughts about this on another post here... I don't want to copy it all, it would be a wall. If you don't get why people don't like the new box idea, check it out. There are reasons.. and the reasons are mostly feelings, of which people underestimate the importance.
I would have been happy to just get 3 choices or currency in the current format. Right now, I can barely muster the desire to do 1 m+ per week. Even 5 sounds horrible (I hate timers in dungeons). The upside is I'll be able to get a chest from raids or pvp. So really, I won't have to do m+ at all anymore, that's a huge bonus for me. Still, it's not as advertised because players won't really get extra choices if they just do their weekly key. Also, where is the Torghast run tier in the vault? They said any of our weekly activities would contribute to the chance for loot. I'm sure pet battlers would also like a tier of their own.
15 Dungeons a week? This is another system that rewards you only for more grind and also stupid one! For most ppl it will be still same stupid weekly chest that we have now? Why cant you simply listen for once blizz and give us simple choice? You pretend like you listen, so you make some change, but to make it annoying again you add some more stupid grind. Just why? This is Alt progression unfriendly again. Another disappointment. I doubt that Shadowlands will be actually good in the beginning. You pretend to listen, but you rly dont.
Speaking about 0/15 M+ keys a week... It will divide high skilled players from casual players even more and will reduce the amount of expirience exchange between them. Also, it will be impossible to survive without of good and friendly PvE guild. Personally, I can't spam M+ keys nowadays by reason of not having "dream team" M+ party even being in guild of mythic raiders. I'm not casual player, but spending 15+ hours a week only for 3rd RNG ring of loot (or something like that) is too much for a game. If you add other activities it looks like full-time job or more. Players will become tired quickly and start leave the game or will staying backwards then lose interest. All of these looks like one-sided option for full-time gamers. Not one casual player will finish 15 M+ runs a week to choose from 3 items of juicy 6+ key loot.So there are three main problems: less chances for newbies to learn, option only for non-casuals and weekly fatigue.
stupid question do we know if 10 or 15 is best loot session 1 yet? it kinda pops back and forth in BFA and legion..
just unsubscribe, it's that simple.refund your shadowlands pre-purchase and show them that doing 15 m+ on 4 chars per week is fu******** insane
It's funny how many people aren't reading the post and getting the information tangled. 1st reward is your highest keystone, 2nd reward (5 dungeons) is based off of your 5th highest keystone, 3 reward (15 dungeons) is based off of your 15th highest keystone. The 3rd reward is the only one that gives you a reward based off of your lowest keystone assuming you've done more than 5.
