For everyone wondering (or pretending to wonder) why it doesn't included current content rep, or niche rep. This is a catch-up mechanism for new and returning players who are on stay-at-home orders. If you're a long time player, it's so that there's other people out in the game who don't get frustrated and quit because they have to spend so long to catch-up to where you are. That we get a rep buff that helps us grind out that last paragon cache toy we haven't gotten (mine will be from Talanji) is just fortuitous happenstance.
Can confirm it does in fact drop, have it in my toy collection
Which Reputations*** Sorry to be that guy :(
Honestly, while yeah it is annoying that it does not make unlocking the new faction bonuses any easier (i would have loved to get the inscription recipe on an alt), i am really glad they are giving returning players and people who have not gotten pathfinder yet a chance to catch up fast. I actually just reactivated my old EU account recently and holy heck is it painful to suddenly have no flying while your friends can buzz about. It's a great incentive for people to give current a try and maybe do some legion stuff if they skipped that xpac. I do kind of wish it would extend all the way back to draenor, where we had the first flying achiev locked to faction rep.Personally, I believe these are the right factions to buff, tho. And remember, there are no rep tokens from timewalking for some of the more difficult faction grinds in past expansions either. There should be reasonable incentive still to have to do that stuff while the expansion is current and while lots of people are doing it too (like the timeless isle bloody coins) and not just wait until some catchup mechanic drops (like with the heavenly gold cloud serpent).Still, I get why people might be upset. If this was something i had not expected but looked forward to taking advantage of i'd probably be a little cross myself. I was a little sad it wasn't just a global all around buff since i am still missing a bundle of old reps (like the sons of hodir or dragonmaw) that i would have loved to get done a teeny bit faster, but this is fine.
For anybody that actually played the game this is a pointless buff.
I just did some world quests on a Human and realized that the 10% racial bonus does not stack with the Impressive Influence buff. WQs give 157/158 and emissary quests give 3150.I am now wondering if the same aplies for the darkmoon buff. If true it is probably not worth waiting two weeks for next DF to use the Legion rep tokens from Order Hall missions.
If you got 3150 rep from turning in emissary that means it does stack. 1500 + 110% bonus is 3150. Likewise the DMF buff will probably stack and give another 10% as it should.
They should go ahead and add WoD reps in there too, help people that still dont have that pathfinder finally round it out. Its at least something to do and reason for some people to go back there.
It sucks that this buff doesn't work on the Fisher Friends of Legion. They are such a pain to lvl now because not many people work on them. I understand why Talons isn't buffed, but I feel like the Fishing one should be.
Sucks that the 2 new factions aren't included. Where's the harm in not including them?
so basically all the ones we'd actual want...not letting this buff work for the CuRRENT two factions is really lame. i can forgive the bee mount one but the current ones?
