imo, N'zoth deserves his own expansion.
The only confirmed Il'gynoth quotes are the following:"The boy-king serves at the master's table. Three lies will he offer you."
yeah I gotta agree with the others that you can't claim she died twice in the sundering with the event and the transformation because.. I mean the first one she didn't die, in the slightest? You can make the arguement, indeed many have, that her being rebirthed as queen as the naga was a death. Technically it isn't but it's less of a stretch than counting her almost dying as a death. She's died once, twice at most if you count narrative deaths. She's alive again and im pretty sure we will put her down again and that will be the 3rd death.
The cinematic is rather short and somewhat underwhelming, but I like the promise it makes. Certainly there are different ways to interpret it, but for me it's clear as day.Azshara died twice now, she will have to die a third time, probably at our hands at the end of the expansion. At the hour of her third death, she will usher in our coming. This hour has not yet come - I am certain of that. But it will, soon. The best thing about that whisper is "our coming". Also, N'Zoth states "All eyes shall be opened". All of them. The Old Gods are coming back, not just him. He is supposed to be the greatest of them and he will reign the Black Empire. We will have our Black Empire expansion, I'm sure of it now. Let's hope it will be as good as we all ever dreamed it to be. Surpassing BfA at least shouldn't be too hard. This whole mess of an expansion with that uncalled for, stupid faction war is just a filler for what should've followed Sargeras' imprisonment at the end of legion.
Can't wait to see what's next.
Hehe. I am always reminded of Megatron's transformation into Galvatron by Unicron when I think of what we know of Azshara and N'Zoth. Their relationship is different in subtle and not-so-subtle ways, but I'm reminded of it none-the-less.
I think there is more going on than just N'zoth being free.. Yes he is indeed free and would possibly be the final boss.. Idk but.. How about Yogg-Saron still being alive?Yogg-Saron is in fact the "God of Death" and might as well be the "master" which Bwonsamdi speaked of.He might even be the one who told Vol'jin to name Sylvannas the warcheif. Neither The Lich King, Bwonsamdi or Eyir have control over the death of Vol'jin, it is beyond their power. So who could it be? Their master, The God of Death?I saw this post about Yogg-Saron vs N'zoth / Horde vs Alliance. I really agree about the Yogg-Saron part. https://www.reddit.com/r/wow/comments/9535l2/yoggsaron_vs_nzoth_battle_for_azeroth/I think Yogg-Saron is responsible for freeing N'zoth. He also was the one responsible for "The Curse of Flesh" which made it possible to corrupt all mortal beings. When N'zoth says "All eyes shall open" in the end cinematic of "Azshara's Eternal Palace", he might mean all the "sleeping/dead" beings in Ny'alotha, like.. Il'gynoth and maybe Yogg-Saron too? So it will be the ressurection of the dead beings in Ny'alotha. In short.. Maybe it's collaborative plan between Yogg-Saron and N'zoth. It seems that N'zoth is the one who have "control" over Ny'alotha. So if Yogg-Saron helps freeing N'zoth, he can open a way from Ny'alotha to Azeroth, so that they can recreate the Black Empire.
would be interesting if sylvanas managed to enslave n'zoth and give him a taste of what it's like to be someone's @#$%^
Isn't Sylvanas the one who has died twice?1. When Arthas killed her and raised her as a Banshee.2. When she was killed at the gates to Gilneas and resurrected. If she dies at the end of this expansion as the final boss, that will be her third death."At the hour of her third death, she will usher in our coming."To resolve the Alliance/Horde issues, Sylvanas needs to be taken care of.To fight N'zoth we need to be united. You can't have a fully free old god as a boss while all this is happening. He is nothing like C'Thun or Yogg. They were still imprisoned. When Sylvanas dies/something happens, it will usher in the next expansion which is old god/void themed. That's my guess.N'zoth is free and probably in Ny'alotha. To get him we need to go there? There's no way that's just a patch. That's a whole expansions landmass.
Death is also change. It's something that has long cropped up in the occult.
Azshara died 0 times....i know it is chocking but, i have read this news during bfa and now, i come from the future to tell you that she died 0 times and that all of this theory is wrong...and i am a bit pissed that wowhead went so hard on making such a long work and news that is basically based on thin air.....it is disappointing.
