Dude the bracer thing for enchanting/tailoring is Rockstar. I use it to make most my gold. :) Also super hyped to use that new discord bot! Thanks for all the info guys! Keep up the good work! 1.2mil made doing what yall recommended and told the community, yall Makin goblins everywhere happy. :D
I do miss running missions for gold-making since I had all my alts at max level in Legion. I wouldn't bother if I had to do it on numerous alts now, though, because leveling alts is painful this expansion and I really don't enjoy the questing. My main is a tailor, but professions are so underwhelming. I sometimes sell cloaks since they still make decent profit. I've still been selling hexweave bags when I have the mats, though only maybe 10-15 since the expansion launch.
I use undermine journal to track AH prices on mats and flasks/pots. I think TSM does everything I would ever need as a gold making addon, however having a mobile app that you can track your auctions, supplies and gold etc would be pretty handy. Also bringing back the AH functionality into the wow companion app would be awesome.
i miss old legion class hall when you get 2k gold for doing literally nothing, now you have to work hard to get that 500g and im still poor.
This post was from a user who has deleted their account.
Im farming gold on the herbs, on my server average price Siren Polen is 23-24g per one and crafting bags (WoD bags) its ~400-500g per one.
"Would you consider having all character slots on a single realm?" I have all characters on one realm. Makes handling crafting materials much easier. I'm glad they increased the realm character limit to 18 for allied races because that's exactly what I'm using the extra slots for.
Discussion point: Do you miss running missions at-scale for gold-making? If it were possible to generate gold consistently through missions but requiring 10, 20 or 50 characters, would you do it?My reply: I do miss running missions at scale for making gold. It was the only way I survived that expansion. I'm on a high pop server so there is usually an abundance of farmers for things like herbs and ore, so spawns I can interact with seem to disappear constantly when I get to them. It was nice to have a way to generate currency that didn't require hundreds of hours running in circles!
I'd love to see the server cap rise to 50 characters! It sounds like it would be less limiting. Having every character in one place would be very convenient, especially for guilds and friends.
I use TSM quite a bit, and it has absolutely helped a lot, especially with flipping. It's tough to get going if you are low on funds, but farming some rare items by spamming a low dungeon that has something helped a lot to grow my funds a bit, and after that, flipping some expensive items made it much easier to build up a huge amount of gold, and in turn, fund my playtime :)Unfortunately our realm has quite died out, so decided to take a break myself, but at least have a few mil in the bank, and quite a few tokens sitting on my banking toon, ready for when Classic lands! :-D
"Do you miss running missions at-scale for gold-making? If it were possible to generate gold consistently through missions but requiring 10, 20 or 50 characters, would you do it?"Nope. It's way to much time for gold making. Maybe 5 or 6 characters would be ok, but 10 is a lot of time just for gold.
How has Tailoring as a profession fared for you in Battle for Azeroth? Have you participated in PvP content to get all of your rank 2 and 3 recipes? How many bags have you sold?To be honest, I haven't really pursued Tailoring as a profession. I have a friend who used to play and made a lot of gold selling bags. I didn't want to compete with her, so I just didn't get Tailoring. I guess I am missing out and need to level up Tailoring on an alt.
Tailoring and herbalism is my primary gold maker since I start playing WOW.
While not exactly goldmaking-related, I too would welcome being able to have all (important) characters on one realm - between Allied Races and having chars of all classes, the realm limit has been tricky, despite being extended repeatedly now.
I really don't know if it already exists, but I would like an app that show the most selling products on the warehouse of each profession in real time.
I definitely miss Legion gold missions where you could easily make 3.7k from only one. Nowadays i just sell everything i can, greens, BoEs, food, enchants, herbs and i always like to get advantage of events as well where people need certain items (e.g. winterveil cookie) and sell those alongside with event outfits and pets. I only use Auctinator and i've found it's extremely useful to see all the listings at once instead of scrolling through pages manually which can take 10 minutes. The only problem i have with gold making is that i've found many foods or enchants to be sold at the price of the mats alone or even lower, making them obsolete to make gold from which is a shame. Underbidding can be a problem as well, when someone decides to underbid you with lets say 200g, someone underbids them 100g etc. and you end up with...again, something being cheaper that the mats alone to make it and i'm not a wow millionaire being able to resell everything unfortunately, so that can be very frustrating.
The information about the various types of methods to increase your old was very valuable. I have a few friends that want to understand how they could make more gold, but don't want to read lengthy articles about it, so this post came in handy, since it showcases on-point exactly what you can do to get some extra money.
Oh, it would be totally awesome to be able to move Resources around!
Do you miss running missions at-scale for gold-making? I miss the free gold from mission very much. It was a nice bonus, especially considering the number of max-level characters I had at the time.If it were possible to generate gold consistently through missions but requiring 10, 20 or 50 characters, would you do it?If it required 10, maybe 15 then sure. I already have 8 120s atm, and a few more planned over the next month.
The enchanting shuffle seems interesting. I should take a look at that :)
