Will be interesting to see these new drop rates on those mounts?
I want to see islands go away. Kudos to Blizzard for taking a risk, but these are a huge miss. The idea of making a guide for islands is laughable. I’d also like to see World Quests become more dynamic, but that’s for a different thread. Making new islands won’t fix the problem. I still don’t want to do them. At all.
So any word on whether or not the invasion in phase 3 is determined at start of invasion or do we still need to trigger it to find out? Can we safely clear the island in a rush before invasion occurs and still have a chance at what the invasion would've offered? Trying to word this the best I can :)
Are the islands still tied to queuing through the table only? They would be so much "friendler" to use if you could go through through the group finder style setup instead of hanging around the table.

Yea, Blizzard needs to not have things unless everyone is happy with them, how dare they? ROFL.
Extremely disappointed the map rewards more azerite.If it were a random rare reward from islands, or even gold, I'd do it on every character until I ran out of resources. If it's just azerite, I have no motivation.

Treasure maps will reward azerite? Aw, come oooooooooooon! We already have a ton of azerite for running the islands! I want GOLD! My inner goblin is dead, BfA killed it :(
I was hoping that map would reward an actual reward. Azerite is boring and something you can't take into the next expac, I hope.

The "rare-reward farming strategy" is to just play normally at a difficulty you can handle."i don't know how i feel about that now...with the new ahoy addon and me searching for specific mobs i want for rewards, made it more fun for me. If they just do an all out rng based on mobs and not knowing the drop rate (how many islands do we have to do to see a single reward), this would suck. At least we can target the mobs right now. I think we didn't like islands because we didn't know the drop rates or how to acquire the rewards. We found out only a few months ago and addons just popped up. They didn't do correct testing on islands, if they didn't notify the players how to acquire the items and how to target the items in the first place. Thus making everyone dislike islands. Now with this new "just play and rng rewards with an unknown drop rate depending on the mobs(or even if each mob has a different drop rate or are they all the same, because rares with mounts might have a smaller chance then normal mobs with transmog or pets, who knows!) on the map" makes the islands less fun, since most people are just going to run through the islands still and not have any fun which still didn't fix the original problem of islands not being fun. This change will be like maw of souls for collectors, Just run a crap ton and get tired of the content faster in order to get rewards. I believe us now knowing how to target mobs makes it more fun so we can go after specific stuff. After all we always complain about rng, and how we can't target rewards (not counting doubloons and their rewards). And it wasn't originally that way, now they are reverting it to what we don't like. We generally like targeting rewards. Now they reversing that decision because we don't find the islands fun. i think this change is making it worse.
i really enjoy doing islands. not because they are challenging (i know they arent and it would be nice to have harder difficulties) but because i like going in, pulling a bunch of bad guys and killing as many as i can for a chance at some very nice rewards! i dont always get something good out of it but when i do, it feels good
