With the release of BfA i was pretty fast joining the BoE Farm Groups - 2x4 mostly farming animals - as skinner i had a super high income of bloody bones and all other mats - i made around 1,5m in 1 week. then i stopped due to time issues.Maybe i will join this thing later again - need to farm for the mount anyway.
The "lesser version of bear tartare" comment should be attached to Crackling Tourmaline not Star Topaz. <3 you Gumdrops!
I appreciate the idea of the 5 Mil gold in a month, but it isn't very informative, basically, farm. That's great when you can get into a farming group, or have the hours upon hours to spend simply farming, but it truly ins't feasible for most. I get it, it's just one person's story, and I'm glad for that, but it isn't helpful, that's my point.
When I level an alt to max, I usually focus on professions, I have only leveled one alt to 120 this time, but have several in various stages of leveling and my tailor alt is already 150. After professions, the focus mainly goes to reputation and gear and transmog.
Why do you specifically recommend using a BM monk for the farming?
I also farmed in 2x4 groups, mainly in voldun, and obtained a few boes and one mount. Made pretty gold
I started the expansion farming for hyenas mount to sell but I got bored really fast. Lately I've been on farm mode selling LW mats and running vanilla dungeons to get some transmogs to sell.
First time in a couple of years I didn't watch the blizzcon streams but I'm thankful for some of the live blogging and other blogs that keep me up to date on new content such as the 'Tool of the Trade' items.
As someone who is now trying to buy wow time with gold im always interested in any tips to help me make gold. Also untill this post i never knew what the 2x4 farming groups were, now that has been explained, Thanks!
Early BFA release I farmed the Sethrak in Vol'dun for mount and BoE chance. Do not have a second account.
I've farmed in groups for hours in Nazmir but no luck with the mount. Got one BoE which I sold for 60k and the greens were all disenchanted and dust sold... Still no mount. I prefer farming like that because I know I will sell the dust at least and no I don't have a second account for gold making purposes. I can barely take care of one account when it comes to game time (buying all via token) :'D
I would be waiting until 8.1 to level any alts, but will instead be waiting until the Zandalari come out later on...whenever that is.When I get to max level on a character, I usually try to get my gear level up, so I can then access raids and warfronts.
So, the 2x4 method's really cool, I'll have to use that with my grindings. Thanks for pointing it out.
Anyone can bruteforce their way to 5 million gold by doing 2x4 farms all day every day and dumping the items on the AH, there is nothing impressive about this other than possibly the sheer amount of work put in.
i will be waiting to level any further alts until 8.1, mainly because i want to level a zandalari or kul'tiran. i do have a dark iron shaman and paladin though that i am taking my time on. the increased rewards from the emissaries are definitely a plus, i did not know that doing them on two toons each day would be enough to get a wow token, which is enough to make me want to start doing them again. i do wish that the mission tables had better rewards, same goes for the warfront contribution because once you hit exalted with honorbound or 7th legion, i personally do not care much for getting my heart leveled up much further.
I cant really bring myself to gold farm, its just not rewarding to me. Especially any method that required multi-boxing.
