i am not even horde but jesus this sucks so hard... i am sorry zappyboi...sylvanas is out of her mind.
Really hope that Saurfang goes to Thrall. It's time for Green Jesus to get back and overthrow Sylvanas.
Honestly a repeat of MOP is sounding pretty great to me, because the only way for this to end out different than MOP 2 Electric Boogaloo is for Sylvannas to not be dethroned, something she very well deserves, unlike Garrosh before they decided to push the Evil button in MoP for the sake of having him as a final boss.
they totally still could, The alliance could send genn and his worgen to track him thus having the meeting
MoP 2.0 confirmed!
Hope they give zekhan an awesome model, not something generic like rokhan.
Zappy Boi took one for the team.
So, we as player are playing the sylvannas game too, right? Cause you know, i was there and if i want to just tell her: heey this is what happened...i could, you know. The same way i could have killed Malfurion with his 0% hp (ye sit was 0% to me) and a lot of things. "Let me see if I have this right... Saurfang single-handedly slew my elite forces and a veteran dark ranger? " She forgot AND THE MF CHAMPION OF THE HORDE/TITAN KILLER/DRAGONSLAYER/ETC?
"If you are to remain in the Banshee's favor, she needs to believe that I defeated you. But it has to look like you put up a good fight."oh my god this sound like a kids show plot. That a patetic excuse of story.
That sounds very possible. Thats how Thrall gets involved in this plot and then suddenly Sylvanas will probably be like "Thrall is a traitor, off with his head" and then most Horde will be like "Sylvanas wtf? We can't go and kill Thrall? He didn't do anything". And this plot will probably be connected with the Vol'jin plot, where they wonder who said he should choose Sylvanas as warchief.
To anyone confused about the traitor bit.You all need to remember that while the Dark Rangers follow Sylvanas unquestioningly, the Champion and Zappy boi do not. Sylvanas could call Saurfang a traitor for any reason she makes up in her head, but the key is she has to call him a traitor so she can kill him and the rest of the Horde doesn't lose their *!@# over it.In BtS she very much refers to Saurfang as someone she would have to "deal with." This is her doing that. All she needs to say is that he spent his time in SW conspiring with the Alliance and gg. In short, calling him traitor is just a cover that allows Sylvanas to have him dealt with with minimal uproar. As for how Saurfang escaped. Everyone should also keep in mind that he HAS been talking with Anduin, even in the very scenario where you break in to rescue the Zandalari trolls he walks off to talk with Anduin. And it should also be worth mentioning that there aren't really a lot of Alliance out looking for him going by the text (though that could change). Could very well be Anduin arranged for him to "escape."
Instantly unsubbing if Zappy Boi dies at any point during this expansion.
Oh guess what, it is Garrosh 2.0 with the EXACT Vol'jin level storyline for Saurfang.
#$%^ Saurfang AND Zekhan. I'm not helping any more treasonous bastards.
by the way, good riddance Sylvanas. there is no way for her to remain warchief by the end of the expansion
I'm so very glad they are straight up characterizing the horde, in game and in the main thoroughfare of the inescapable god-modey storytelling as "no, really, you're team Saurfang, Sylvanas is wrong, and you don't agree with the burning of Teldrassil." This has always been the clear path intended for the horde player, and I'm glad they're spelling that out. There was a lot of out of character ugliness over Teldrassil, "dividing" the horde playerbase, when really, there were indeed two factions with horde characters: The actual horde playerbase, and terrible people laughing at the intended anguish a certain storyline caused other players (burning Teldrassil.)Teldrassil was a villainous move, that is canon. Our characters are heroes. That is how both playable factions are cast. I often rail on how god-modey WoW's storytleling must be, but this is how to use that tool, and use it well. Your character is not "drinking nightelf tears and calling for the burning of children," no more than my character is actually my D&D character from another world. We can both RP those threads among ourselves and our consenting friends... but neither of them are Canon in the official story.
